  • Paulo describes how he discovered Penny Royal while he was at a herbal remedy stall at a market in Greece.
After purchasing some Penny Royal tea he germinated seeds from the bottom of the jar and has been surprised just how potent the aroma is. He explains what he has learnt and how to grow Penny Royal from seed and propagating from cuttings.
He slowly built up his stock to multiple plants from just one seedling. Being a member of the mint family it is fairly easy to grow with some medicinal qualities. Paulo has found it to be extremely useful for respiratory infections and breaking up mucus.
In this video Paulo tells you everything you need to know about growing Penny Royal.

Great video👍🌱I have grown some from seed this year, might put some in my new food forest if you feel it's not too invasive, and some near my pond to keep the mosquitoes at bay.

I’m about to plant some in my front flowerbed where the neighborhood cats keep pooping because I’ve heard it repels cats!

Have you done a video on Chamomile? I grew two plants last year, Roman Chamomile, tried to brew tea with a strainer, tea tasted terrible, do you know how to dry out Chamomile for tea?

How many sachets of this tea can you have in a day? A Spanish frien has given me some.

I'm wondering if we have to keep it away from the chickens.
And for allergies, maybe sniff a little in hot water steam. Clear the sinuses.
