"I Found Love After A Face & Double Hand Transplant" | This Morning

When Joe DiMeo was just 19 years old, he was involved in a horrific car accident which changed his life forever. After suffering third degree burns to 80% of his body, he later underwent pioneering transplant surgery where he received new hands and a new face. The 24-year-old now has the hands and face of a donor, which have enabled him to start living his life again, and even helped him find love. Joe joins us with his girlfriend Jessica today to tell us his extraordinary story of survival, and his hopes that his success will help other burn victims around the world.
