Okay, misreading women must be why luxury brands are not tapping into the market for automatic watches for women! I am one who is looking for a spring drive Grand Seiko. What year are we in??
STGK009 is automatic with a beautiful mother of pearl dial. Also, women can look great with the larger watches (they don’t have to exclusively be for men). Spring Drive can’t be built to fit a very small case though.
@JHa-c4l your comment is spot on! For real, why can’t we women have pieces designed for us with the fit, finishing, and thoughtfulness in design found in the gents’ watches? It’s like women are an after thought to luxury watchmakers. They’ll just make the dial smaller, add diamonds, and/or a pinkish or mother of Pearl tone and call it a ladies watch. I would love an elegant version of a GS with smaller case (29mm - 34mm), Spring Drive movement and a see-through back housed in titanium and not stainless steel. The long wait and search for the perfect watch continues…. [Sigh]
This price point is possible. If you ask a Grand Seiko dealer in the US they'll give you their best price. I would recommend Moyer Fine Jewelers of Indiana.
Excellent review, so glad you have this channel
Appreciate your kind comment!
the movement is an insane +/- 10 secs a year!!!!!!!!!!
