He died in 1933 while in his early-mid 30's age wise. Originally he died while disposing of the remains of one of his victims, but that was later retconned. Hes a known practitioner of Voodoo and his extremely powerful.
Charlotte "Charlie" Morningstar (bi) (angle form is a "biblically accurate angel" type thing) is the Daughter of Lucifer and Lilith, the two most powerful demons in Hell. They betrayed God in the bible and were sent to hell. Charlie is the only character born in hell in the show (so far)
Angel Dust(Anthony while he was alive)(gay, crossdresser) (His demon form is a spider) Died in 1947 in his 20's. Hes gay and was ostracized while he was in the mob (he was born into a mob family) His signature black eye is due to his sister giving him a black eye in a fight before he dies of an overdose on angel dust
Of course all of this is going off of the old canon (exclusively the pilot for HH and HB) and some of it is going on theories, so take it with a grain of salt
Yeah, you're spot on in regards to Charlie being able to level Katie Killjoy in an instant. She's even stronger than Alastor, power-wise, ranking 3rd in Hell's hierarchy. Only thing is.... she's too nice. Charlie doesn't want to be mean or hurt people. But she's no pushover when it comes to something she believes in. Which, by my best guess, is her angelic side shining through. (Her father, Lucifer, is a fallen angel)

37:24 the whole thing with the "volunteering" thing is because both Husker and Nifty are people who basically owe Alastor and although he lets them live their own afterlives for the most part, he can call them at anytime and so he says volunteer his services when really it's more like a, "you're my indebted slave and you're now going to do this for me because I decided that I want you to." Though, all that being said, Alastor's my favorite especially if you undergo the research on him, because he's quite the interesting character

Because of this he has a rivalry with another overlord, Vox, the guy with the TV screen head seen at the beginning, he's the Television Demon who emerged more recently.

When the show got picked up by Amazon, all the voice actors needed to be in the Voice Actors Guild. But that gives Viv the budget to get VAs such as Amir Talai- and Keith David, the original voices VivziePop wanted for the show
