All I need from color correction in DaVinci is to make brown water in a river surrounded by lots of greenery, look turquoise. The rest is not a big deal. 😊
Great video, how do I combine the film look with the color page though. And do the film look stack on AFTER all the clip corrections (like any timeline nodes)
@@kimeriksson7445 the film look creator is an effect that’s on the color page. You just need to look it up in the effects panel. Like any other timeline node the film look creator will stack on after any node before it. I typically use Resolve color management and it handles the entire color pipeline.
Hi I usually shoot multicam and use Cinematch to convert all in Arri log C3 with the recommended HDR pipeline by the company using CST and doint the conversion to Davinci Wide Gammut after that I use Filmconvert and the image I am getting from my S5s P4K P6K is much better... The Cinematch integration of Davinci Wide Gammut is great but few people knows about it...
its why its called beta, it would help if you report it to bug sections along with your hardware specs. For sure v19 is full of bugs, its first time I have been waiting for a long time for a version going out of beta.. If i have ongoing projects, i never try these :D

If I want to get the highest picture quality and use davinci, I cannot use raw which is the best codec for grading - makes no sense to me. also, they dropped prores on their cameras as well - what does that tell you? Do I want to invest in an workflow and then it is suddenly abandoned?
Davinci does support ProRes - only ProRes Raw is still not supported. For me as I am using BRAW with my bmcc 6k and my fp it is the perfect tool - for me.
I think dehancer is overpriced but I actually think it's valuable because it's a true emulation which is important depending on what your post pipeline is. I think a better cheaper alternative is colourpro. Film look creator is definitely awesome regardless.
This is all cool but for people like me who do lots of social media reels build in kind of insta fx would be nice. Instagram has lots and lots of great video fx and overlays. I cant do anything of all those things instagram can do with one click, thats a shame and should be changed to make resolve complete

@@kultledern i do professional video and i make a living from it. This does not mean social media is not important to me. Most advertisement is done on social media these days. A professional program should be able to serve the workflow for any kind of media. I wonder why everyone acts like the "cinematic" look is most important even tough most guys will never work for cinema. No one cares about 24p but cool reels are in high demand.
You talk about Highlights to much… In fact for professional use the cloud makes Davinci Resolve unusable because the cloud is in Europe illegal by laws. Minimal features like piano roll is still missing in Fairlight and a standard like controller use and incompatibility still is absolute old fashion. Sorry to give you just for hyping without focus to the downsides a thumb down.

Ja es gibt viiiiiiiiele nervige Sachen in DR bzw. einfach Sachen wo die keinen Bock haben was anzupassen oder settings freizugeben. ( vom wtf Speed Editor bis zu settings für die playbar in Cinema Mode). In seinem Video hat er auf die cleanslate hingewiesen was ich eine interessante Neuerung fand die auch so nicht in der kleinen changelog ist. Insofern war das Video berechtigt. Ist auch wenig interessant in jeeeedem Video zu den downsides sich zu äußern. Dein beef mit Dr musste im Forum äußern. Ob die cloud legal oder illegal in der eu ist oder nicht? Gibt genug die es in der eu benutzen….

at the bottom of dehancer there is an button to disable all tools

Thanks for the video. Quick question: is it stable. I tried beta 2 and it was laggy and couldn't use it. I had to roll back to 18.5.

Davinci is great - but completely useless to me, since it doesnt support ProRes anymore

It dose just not ProRes raw and that issue mainly lies with apple from my understanding 😅
