    My huion 13 tablet is sadly a bit different colors than my laptop and i cant get it to be the same even if i messed with settings... 😔 It makes me upset when i draw something and it looks great on tablet but not on laptop and it always needs playing with settings ☠️ im a bit lazy for all that

      Yes! I would bet this has to do with the screen protectors on drawing tablets in general. And if you're posting content online, I always notice a difference in the slight colour shift from my original intentions as well on other devices. It's hard to get used to; but knowing it's a thing can help to make adjustments needed after the piece is finished.
      I am also too lazy to change it after the fact! 😅

      Could that not be corrected by callibrating it with a Spider? Bc it sounds like the same problem I used to have with editing photos. And using the Spider helped.

    That's quite the accent you have, it's very subtle.

    • @carleys.illustration

      Haha yeah it is. I'm American but moved to Ireland and picked up bits and pieces from both ends. I'm one of those people that just can't shake either of the accents and they blend together a bit

      @@carleys.illustration I picked up on the Ireland part, but I couldn't figure out why it wasn't more pronounced (as Irish accents so often are). The American bit makes sense, though I was going to guess you were in England, and had Irish family or something. But I wasn't hearing any English tells.

    I gave my daughter such a tablet. For a year and a half she painted on it, everything was fine. But after a recent update, the program for this tablet does not establish a connection with the tablet. Works only as a second monitor. Tried on two different computers, no connection. :( Maybe someone has encountered such a problem and can tell how to solve it?

    hi, i recently bought ths tablet an i like it so far. I used to use a screenless table so ı decıded to upgrade. My questıon is, is display's scratches normal and is there a way to prevent it?

    • @carleys.illustration
      @carleys.illustration  4 месяца назад

      Hello! I hope you're as happy with your tablet as I am. I will say that yes after 250-300 hours of drawing on this tablet there are way less scratches than I have had on previous tablets I have owned. However, with us scratching with the pen there will always be signs of it being used but nothing that is going to create a groove for your pen to slip into.
      I hope this helps! I actually prefer to draw on this then my portable Samsung tablet and have found that drawing bigger has helped me improve immensely since I purchased it!

      @@carleys.illustration hey, thank you for the answer, my another question is there are some protective layers for scratching. Would you recommend it? And yes i am pretty happy. İ might have had 16" version which would be more beneficial for me. Apart from it, great tablet

    how did you calibrate yours?

    • @carleys.illustration
      @carleys.illustration  Год назад

      I calibrated mine by using the Huion software it came with. There's an option in the driver's setting you just click that and it'll prompt you to tap the screen in several areas

      @@carleys.illustration nah i was talking about colour calibration. the tablet is very saturated. thats an issue. like once i am done with my paintings i send it to a different monitor and it looks desaturated cause the colours are not correct on this one

    • @carleys.illustration
      @carleys.illustration  Год назад

      @@mukundasharma8693 I am not too sure why that is happening to you, on my end I never had to calibrate it for colours and everything has come off of it nicely.
      It might come down to your program or the way you are saving your files. If you're trying to get stuff printed it could be because of the CMYK/RGB settings in the program
      Also what kind of monitor are you switching it from? I know some older monitors may not have as good of colour accuracy and I have also heard an LPS monitor is what you need for better colours, but it's hard to say without seeing it

    its visible that there is a lag in the strokes, that where huion lacks. i guess every animator/illustrator wont love that. Thanks for sharing the Video

    • @micheladax
      @micheladax Год назад +6

      I believe the lag depends on the pc, i have the same tablet and i don't notice any lag. A con i would add is that the pen doesn't have a nice initial pressure, if you press too hard you would not notice it, besides that... for the price, is a no brainer.
