If you're referring to the angle of the rear shocks being more acute than stock, yes. Both Bob's (which he has long since sold) and my Demon (still going strong) added the rear shock mount kit from Cross RC CZR97400348. This stands the shocks up right. He did it for looks, I did it to help eliminate some of the excessive chassis roll during a hard accent.
@@Xoarkitty Great Color, I already ordered one from Amazon, Does it need primer first? Is it Resistant? and how many coats / Cans did you use, Sorry for too many questions but the paint job on this is superb and need to copy that if you dont mind :)
I built the FR'4B last week just got a Gelande 1/10 in a trade like the Cross better. thinking of getting another one have not made up my mind what one yet. Like the SUV bodies got a lot of truggies.
I could do that. Except I have an SP and no one I know has an SG. Really the only difference in the full doors, full bed, canopy, rear bumper, and shorter tires. Oh and the shocks are shorter with a different mount in the rear.
Could you recommend a battery for the SG4? I’m using the Fly Venom 30C, 2000mah (part # 25023). Too short on run time for my liking and it’s hard to find a bigger battery that’s not too big.
I'm running a Gens Ace 3300mah 3s in mine. However I cannot say if it will fit in the SG series battery tray. I'll check on that and post an update as soon as I can.
Just wanted everyone to know we worked with Gens Ace to develop a new 3600 3s lipo that fits the SG/SP/SU series Demon trucks. Look for them under their Adventure line. Thanks.
Great comparison!👍 I appreciate you putting this video together and look forward to the next video!
Nice job Shawn. Loving my SU4C so far
Thanks, and glad to hear you like it.
Good comparison, subbed up
Love the pro version (hardbody) or bobs car. Eny where to buy it now for a fair/good price? Greetings from Denmark
We have them in stock at Cross RC US, however due to current world conditions we are not shipping internationally.
Hey Skp nice vid! Did the SG4 come with that light bar? Like and sub bud!
is there mods to this truck i notice the shocks do not turn in like they do on a sg4c

Very Nice brown color, is it metallic or solid? can you please share with me the color code for the brown rig?
It's Testors lacquer "Root Beer".

@@fadibalaawi5281 I don't mind, it was Bob's truck after all. I think he said two coats, and yes use a primer.
Does anyone know if they come up with a solution for the garbage transmission yet?
It will be here soon. Keep watching for a new video.
@@Xoarkitty Thanks I look forward to it. These trucks have a unique scale look.
Bob's is it a shelf queen. lol
Well it was. He drove it once for maybe five minutes. Then last fall when the SP series came out he sold it.

@@kennethwelty1190 Up close the SU4 is a sharp looking truck. Lots of details. More if you get the "C" version. Nice to hear you like the truck.
howabout sg vs sp ?
