Comparing European cars with Japanese and Korean cars is a foolishness.
Volkswagen Ford and fiat is a beautiful royal class car at affordable prices, at the same time Japanese extracting the people's innocence or foolishness, yes maintenance is a bit expensive but life is more precious, and unmatched driving experience.
Instead of buying a Japanese car, it will be better to buy seconds ford or Volkswagen, which is not only cheaper to buy moreover it will be much cheaper to maintain aswell.
For example I bought a used vento instead of i20, by which I saved 5 lakhs of rupees, and if u calculate 10 percent depreciation value, plus 10 percent bank intrest plus 3 percent insurance premium which is about 23 percent savings every year, which amounts to 1.19 lakh. And even if u send 50 thousands of rupees on service, u would be saving about 69 thousand rupees every year.
