I was impressed by United's youngsters like Amass. He took the ball from Salah a few times where it could have been really dangerous. These are the boys Utd should build their future on, instead of having yet another season of chasing a LB that is going to get offloaded next season, as we have seen past few years.

I think what INEOS should focus on is trying to offload all those that are not part of the plans and see how much money that brings in. I don't think they can afford to penny pinching either. Last season that cost getting £30 mil for Maguire, so even if he can still do a job, it is not something to build a future on and just kicking the can down the road. As I see it, if Utd is to make any progress they need to be utter ruthless. And if it just ends with empty spots I believe Utd are better served putting prospects into those spots over players that doesn't have a future at the club.

Maguire did well when he was needed last season. Yes I agree he's too slow to play high press, but he's definitely not the worst CB in the league
