Hi Jack......I try to stay away from Pills. Years ago I was putting a Torque Converter into a D9G and fell onto a 3 inch Sapling severely damaging number 3 and 4 lower Vertebrae and the Disc in between. The Pain was God-Awful and lasted 2 Years. I finally demanded a Bone Specialist who gave me 4 Exercises to do and I was to come back in 30 days. These 4 exercises did the Trick. This all happened 46 Years ago and the Pain has only returned twice. I had to get an 8 inch Knee Boulster to hold up the Knees while I laid on my back.....no side Sleeping. One exercise was pulling each Knee up to the Ears.....break into these slowly! Leg raising was next.....again, go slowly as your Muscles may not have every been there! The first time in bed, I had to stay there for two days flat on my back and only get up for Bathroom and Food. After working, yes, I went back to Work two Weeks after it happened! I would work Monday thru. Friday and go to bed for Weekends. Exercises were done every morning and night. I wanted to know why I was doing all this and he said I must shift the Load from the Spinal Column to the Back Muscle Structure. Laying on my Back would unload the Disc and let it suck back into place as Discs have their own Elasticity. i believe these Exercises are laid out on the Net or certainly would be available from a Doctor or Workman's Compensation Branch. After 20 Days.....I was a new Man with no Pain. I finished the 30 Days and went back to see my new Doctor where he said the Pain could easily come back. If it does come back, go to bed again for a Weekend on your Boulster and on your Back. As mentioned, the Pain came back twice only and has not come back now for 40 some Years. My Pain went down both Sciatic Nerves into each Ankle and was so Painful! I've always found that Exercise Cures most Ills.....give it a try on yourself as it is better than taking Pills! The Boulster I used kept my Knees up 8 inches as Legs flat actually pull the Back rather than Relax it. I made the Boulster out of a 36 inch piece of PVC Pipe and wrapped it with Carpet......something round lets it roll a bit.

I was running northbound on an empty coal train, and the fog was really bad coming out of Texas.

I really enjoy your programs as they are entertaining as well as informative. After watching a number of them I have a trucking question perhaps you or another trucker here could answer. Would it be possible to use either of the trailer air lines to connect to some type of air wrench to raise and lower the landing gear (legs)? Perhaps the handle to the trailer mechanism could be made removable and used in situations where the air wrench does not work. Just curious. Thanks again for these great programs!

sounds like your wipers could use some oil on the montage point. Just saying... I can hear a snirping sound clearly from that.
By the way, I like to watch all your adventures, even if we're from Holland. However, you mention allways degrees, but in Fahrenheit. Would be nice if you would say it in degrees Celcius as well (to have an idea).
Furthermore, a question: Does the fuel price a night or down during the days? I can tell you, that right now in Holland, we pay about 1,289 Euro a LITER. So.. be happy with the fuel prices over there in America.
Keep on trucking safe! Thanks for your allways nice stories. Sometimes, you are talking about lunch and / or diners, while we have nothing, though you offer us to share with you, allthough we aren't able to share with you. Have some crisps from me, I am eating a bag of bolognese. Would like to visit you once, but have never been in America untill now. Egypt, Mexico, South-Africa, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany , Holland, United Kingdom, Dominican Republic, 1 year ago was in Cuba even, and will go in December to Curacao.
