They should make one of these at Six Flags Over Texas
I see what you did there
Great idea
Lol
I love the Mack water coasters. I feel as Cedar Point could use one more and this would be a nice one to fill the "Shoot the Rapids" void. I really miss that ride, but I understand that it had to be shut down.
I can see Cedar Point seek out some records by getting the loop to be the 1st, as well as tallest and fastest version of this Mack.
That would be a nice fit for them.
This coaster just screams cedar to me, its a cloneable ride while still being fun and unique enough to entertain the average guest.
Idk, cedar fair hasn't really worked with MACK until copperhead strike in 2019 and even then we haven't seen then work together since. So I doubt they would work with MACK on a generally unreliable clone and cedar fair doesn't particularly like clones so I doubt they would add these to there parks.
cedar?
@@handledav cedar fair
@@handledav its pronounced cheddar
I wouldn't mind seeing more.
Aquaman Power Wave is the new Iron Gwazi
I'm glad it should finally be opening soon.
With Aquaman coming to Over Texas, it will be cool to experience and see how it compares to shuttle coasters and water coasters. This definitely looks better than the super splashes.
It's more exciting for sure.
This would be killer at Busch Gardens Tampa, in some more of the land that used to be taken up by Tidal Wave! I hope that Mack makes more
It would!
I think this would also work at Holiday World, I can one where Giraffica's splashdown was
That would be a nice fit.
I rode Kondaa first early in the morning before cred running the rest of the park and when I got off pulsar, I thought that was the most ‘fun’ ride in the park. That reverse launch over the bunny hill was so much fun! Better than the reverse launch and airtime hill on Pantheon.
I prefer Pantheon's bunny hill, but I think this launch may actually be better.
Having never ridden Pulsar or Pantheon, I already like Pantheon better because it doesn't get you soaking wet.
Tldr walibi has built and rebuilt this power splash in the time six flags was supposed to open theirs
I'm glad the Over Texas one should finally open next year.
I hope after Six Flags Over Texas Six Flags does more of these
I wouldn't mind seeing more.
Pulsar does have some solid theming, if you go through the main queue i actually was flabbergasted.
Dang, I didn't see that from single or Speedy.
@@CanobieCoaster i couldve filmed it, but it was a walk on and i was too excited 😂 so didnt take out my phone
it does have some theming but you'll only see it in the normal que.
it consists of 2 show scenes showing the pulsar's power and operating;
the first scene is a projection of a brick wall that get's cracked and broken by the pulses of pulsar
and the second is a large sculpture of a contanment cage with a beating hart inside, the hart lights up with each pulse and if the train dispatches it starts beating faster and makes a blue glowing liquid that goes to the loding platform trough some tubes to what looks like power the ride.
Wow thanks, I didn't see those in the bits of the standby queue I could see.
@@CanobieCoaster no you can't, there on the upper floor in the 2 rooms to the sides, a little Hidden from sight unless you walk through them
Mack rides launches are usually the Little Caesars of the amusement park industry, but I’m glad to know that they can make good launches and just don’t usually! 😂
It was a nice change of pace.
The queue got some nice theming by the way :)
Good to know!
Well, Aquaman will likely open before Tron @ Magic Kingdom. I'm actually ready to ride both.
It will be nice to have both finally open.
Six flags over Georgia could use this to help fill out some of what they are missing. They got rid of their boat splash ride a couple of years ago and that plot is vacant plus they don’t have a launch coaster so it would be perfect there
They sure could.
Pulsar was back in operation at the halloween event 2021.
Good to know! The reports I saw from when they reopened showed it closed, but they were from the first few days.
@@CanobieCoaster Yeah... It didn't reopen with the park after the flood. Pulsar needed some replacement parts that were not immediately available.
Best water coaster in europe imo (just the ride without letting theming count)
It does have the best pure ride over there.
I think they should make more of these. I think it's neat.
It is really. It gives some nice airtime and doesnt drench you
I'd be in support of more.
Pulsar is a great ride though it does fall compared to other mack coasters in the nearby area's, I am concerned though that this ride may develop a rattle like Poseidon and even Krampus Expedition after a few years
I hope it can stay smooth. Most of the rattles I've seen on the Mack water coasters seem to be when the boat turns, which this doesn't have.
Meh. All it does is go back and forth which is not that interesting. I don't think they need to build more of these, especially at Six Flags Over Texas in the place where Big Bend is supposed to be located. However, if Kings Dominion ever got rid of Anaconda, they should build one these, the version with the loop, in the place where Anaconda's lift was. They could call it King Cobra's Revenge. But, I'd rather they keep Anaconda as it's a more interesting ride. In my opinion.
I think they're better than most water rides.
Does the water on pulsar smell? It looks like pond water
Didn't smell to me.
This has such a massive splash
Yes
Another reason the logo looks the way it does, is because the ride's layout looks like a W from the side.
Oh that's cool!
At Walibi Belgium, did you like Pulsar more than Loup Garou? What would you prefer?
I like Loup Garou more.
i see a anthor sixflags park geting this
Wouldn't be surprised.
@@CanobieCoaster I could see six flags over Georgia getting one of those
@@CanobieCoaster can i have a shout out next video
last year a birds nest was on one of the spikes and whenever the vehicle past by the bird would fly out and then go back to it's nest
Wow! I saw something like that with Valravn a few years ago.
Haha, there was a bird's nest in the tunnel on Wolverine Wildcat at Michigan's Adventure for a few weeks this summer. It was fun to watch the bird zoom out of the tunnel every time a train entered, then turn around and fly back in once it was gone!
On a related note, Steel Vengeance and Shivering Timbers both had hornet's nests on their lift hills towards the end of the summer this year. Watching people try to run from hornets when they were locked in a harness was quite amusing. I just thought Cedar Fair was advertising Fury 325.😝
Why I suspect that the park was willing to take the risk is because none of the technology is truly new (aside from maybe the splashdown filling thing), and that Mack is a company with a good reputation for reliability. It was a risk no less, but a MUCH more calculated one than Vertigo was, no idea what they were thinking with that one.
That is true.
