If you did want to see a game of League a new thing that started earlier this year is that they launched the NRL (National Rugby League) season with some games in Las Vegas. It's happening again next year, late February or early March. It's part of promoting league to the north American audience. Next year they are adding to the two NRL games with a women's game (NRLW is becoming very popular) and I think a game from the English Super League. So you can get a trip to Vegas and see 4 games of Rugby League!
A State of Origin game is way better !! Queensland vs New South Wales is an iconic part of Australian rugby . Have a check of a highlights reel , you'll be wtf 😎

Yes, it's a 5mm to 8mm thick spung padding. Some of the forwards used in the days when they pushed in the scrum as the opposition's front row would drive their heads into your shoulder and then as their head drops down slam their shoulders into were the just basiclly headbutt you, and then second rows and the lock at the back used to push their shoulders into the top of your leg and butt. Same if you see League players wearing head gear it used to be to stop their ears from tearing in the scrum or getting colleyflower ears. It was funny originally they got Tina to meet some of the players, so they intended to get all the good-looking young roosters that were modelling, but they could only get the old bloke with heads like smashed crabs. They managed to get the good-looking roosters for the add.

You have rugby league and rugby union which are two different sports. What you just watched is rugby league and that is my favourite sport. The other one, rugby union is also a great sport but the two are completely different games with different rules. I hope you take the time to learn the differences and enjoy both sports.
