I have a '04 Silverado with almost 350k miles, its been an excellent truck the past 6 years. The dash comes comes out of these trucks super easy, its basically just a cover over the main dash structure, just snap the bezel out, A-pillar trim, pop the vents out, push the tabs to release the grab handle, then its just a handful of 7mm screws holding it in. It should be easy enough to find a decent one in a jukyard, or someone doing partout, I have a near perfect, uncracked one in my shed I saved from a partout if I was closer to you I'd let you have it for free
I've done some more research on replacing them, and it does seem pretty straight forward, I'm actually going to look at a truck tomorrow, and try to get the dash out without breaking it, if I can, ill be putting it in mine
On that dashboard they got like 8mm bolts behind the dash bezel and some behind the two covers on each side of the lower dash and a few on top very easy to just replace just the top cover
@@Hunterrnorris yes sir! It's just the dash pad. Maybe you can find one in a wrecking yard. Just be careful, b/c if it's not cracked, it may crack once you start moving it.
@@EkzdeeLFT Cummins go for insane prices in my area, hence why I jumped on the last one and got screwed, might have to give up on them and look towards a powerstroke again

Can you replace without dropping the whole the dash?

@@jewllake thank you for the heads up
@@Hunterrnorris yes sir
Are you going to keep the pinstripe
@@GavinBose yea, if it was broken in a couple of areas, I’d take it off, but this one is 80-90 percent there
You should do more Dodge driving videos.
Definitely more coming!
Chevy silverado and gmc sierra are identical trucks off the same line just with different badges
Looks like a Dodge dash🤣😂
@@ChadMyers73 yea, and they make fun of us haha
And people complain about dodge dashboards.

I’ve had good luck out of 99-06 gm trucks and suv’s
They seem to be pretty popular in our area
