Shake up in the national polls after this weekend. 2 series left and the Razorbacks need to find a way to stay in the top 8. That "Left On Base" number is killing us along with some inconsistent pitching.
Win or lose, like to see the replays, thanks for sharing the game highlights. We got some issues with pitching, one good reliable starting pitcher with a shaky unreliable bullpen and absolutely no consistent hitting. Looks like Woods will be replacing Molina for the Sunday start and Tygart needs to get hot. Maybe the arms just need a rest. This team playing like a team that will get beat "AGAIN" at home in a regional. 9 left on base yesterday and 11 today. Not a good recipe for winning baseball or getting to Omaha. Maybe its playing on plastic grass and plastic dirt that makes us look so bad. Bungling outfield errors letting runs score which never help with the questionable pitching. They may sit Diggs, he needs to heal up. Interested to see if the Razorbacks can bounce back at home next week. Do not want your only series loss at home, to be your last home series of the season. We lose these last three series, we are in jeopardy of possibly dropping out of the top 8 and hosting. Things have got to get better. Go Hog's!!!!
Right now I am just worried about the Razorbacks being able to stay in the top 8 for hosting. Not looking good. Not sure how the polls will shake out with the top two teams losing. This team wont win on the road in the regionals. Razorbacks need some help.
Stovall is a beast! I hope to God he comes back next season. He could easily be a first round pick with a whole season under his belt.
We just flat out didn’t play good these last 2 games. We try harder than anyone to hit solo home runs and it’s starting to get embarrassing. The offensive approach has to change. When your hitters are costing you games because they are trying to hit the ball 500 feet when what you really need are base runners it can get very frustrating to watch.
At least we won’t be cursed at number 1…
You can say goodbye to #2 after the weekend.

No worries. We'll still win the west even if Kentucky wins the SEC outright. We have enough conference titles, we want a CWS title.
We haven't won anything yet. We still have 6 games left against 2 ranked teams. We don't win these last two series , we may drop out of the top eight and not have home field to Omaha.

We have it in us. We looked like a completely different team in game 1, of course having the best pitcher in the country on the hill helps.

If our pitching isn’t dialed, we just can’t win games. The hitting is inconsistent at best. Unless Smith can pitch every game for us we aren’t making the CWS. No one looks comfortable at the plate for Arkansas besides a few guys.
How Kentucky can’t sell out a no. 2 vs no. 8 match up says a lot
Just says Kentucky aint as big on baseball as it is football and basketball......But fans really do need to step up and support the baseball team..........
I mean this series was also the same weekend as the Kentucky Derby so that caused a lot of fans to not show up

The hitting is atrocious. Tennessee got 3x the runs arkansas got against Florida pitching this weekend.

Arkansas won't do anything in the tournament with their constant lack of hitting.
Only one starting pitcher you can count on. One reliever. Leaving too many runners on base. Can’t hit. Won’t make it out of the regionals.

Sorry guys, but Holt has become our new "Oompa Loompa." Tired of seeing stuff going over this guys head. Moore was 5'9' but does not look as short as Holt, who is supposed to be 5'10. I think they gave Holt a little extra height on the roster list.. Not picking on Holt, Lovich and Biggs both hit the wall and misplayed fly balls. Holt does the same thing when playing third, stuff just goes over his head sometimes. Maybe he is just trying too hard, the guy has a lot of hustle, 110 mph, and plays hard. Some one else said it, Maybe the Razorbacks are jinxed playing on plastic grass and plastic dirt. Hope the Razorbacks have a good week of preparation and sweep next weekend. Be nice for the Razorbacks to be going on the road for that last regular season series with a 3 game win streak.

They lost a series to Alabama last month.
And this helps us avoid getting the top seed in the tournament. We want to be #1 in late June and not late May.

@@jacksonlee3771 My point is that we avoid the #1 overall seed jinx. Outside of the first yr of the current format (1999), no 1 seed has won the CWS.
