- Today Anton take a moment to present the current crown jewel of the Pitstop garage. The 2011 Audi RS6 C6 Plus Avant built on the legendary V10 Biturbo engine that in stock form produces 579 PS (571 bhp) and 650 Nm (479 lbf⋅ft) of torque. Pitstop's "B4" (Car 4 in the garage) is software tuned to 700 PS and 950 Nm which take this 2 ton car to uncanny speeds when you put the foot down.
In this video Anton goes through the highlights of the car it self, how you can make the car even better and modernized but also if this is a car you should try and buy yourself.

This car represents the peak of the Audi brand in my opinion (and of the VW group). The design from Walter de Silva for all the Audi models from that time is something special 🇮🇹

That will definately be happening sooner rather than later! The car still had winter tires and some minor engine issues that made us skip that part in this video. We have plans for more performance oriented videos and have 3 dragys ready to go! 😬

I'm actually located in Malmö, only the Count is in Halmstad, but its not to far away. Hopefully we can arrange some events going forward, that is our hope at least. Just follow the channel for more info on that! :) /Anton

nice sounding car although the turbo makes it less different from s6, s6 is one of the best sounding car for me
although the cons is, if ever there is some problem u need a great mechanic to do it

We can only agree! The RS6 V10 sounds great but the turbos mute the sound a lot and the S6 NA V10 is hard to beat sound wise. 😍
But yeay the maintenance cost is high and we will unfortunately never get these kind of cars ever again. So better keep the one’s we have safe! 😬

Kansas City Missouri USA here. Could you convert one of the S6 cars to LP or hydrogen fuel. With fossil fuel going away and or staying super expensive. It would be cool to see the V10 live forever in the future on an alternate fuel like hydrogen. Just a thought of a cool video.
Welcome to Sweden Jacob! 😬 This is really good question that I've been thinking a lot about the last two years. I hope and believe that we will eventually see some kind of environment friendly alternative to usual fossil fuels. However I don't think we're there yet and even if it would be possible to convert one of the S6 V10's to a current carbon-neutral fuel I'm afraid it would not perform as we would have wanted and it might very well be that we realize we've gone down the wrong road when more efficient carbon-neutral fuels arrives on the market and might not be compatible with our current conversion.
In short this is definitely something we're keeping our eye on but it will have to wait before it feels worth it. Great thought and idea though! 🙏 /Anton

Not sure if you have the car still, but I'm curious, every single example of this car that I've seen has right hand drive, how did this one end up with left hand drive? Would you say it's far more rare?
We still have the car, or my business partner The Count that is. It's still his daily driver. 😊
If you're referring to the RS6 C6 Plus models I actually don't know how many that was made with left vs. right hand drive. All I know is that there are quite a few left hand drive one's, probably more than right hand drive as Audi is a German brand with left hand driven cars. But its an interesting question that I will try and find an answer to! :)
@Pitstop Gosh, what an amazing daily driver to have!!! Truly a pinnacle of engineering that we won't see again. Been wanting to get one imported to the US lately, that's why I was asking about left hand drive! Such a sweet car. Thank you for sharing!!!

Hej Erik och välkommen till kanalen! Det handlar egentligen om två saker, din budget och dina preferenser. C6 RS6 karossen med V10 kostar i runda slängar hälften av vad en C7 RS6 med V8 kostar i inköp. Sen kan det bli dyrare att underhålla en v10 då den är äldre och mer komplex.
Andra frågan är vad du föredrar i upplevelse/känsla. V10an är mer unik men låter tyvärr ganska mesigt i standardutförande samtidigt som känslan i bilen är lite segare samt att tekniken i bilen är rejält utdaterad. V8an har mer kraftullt ljud i basutförande och en betydligt nyare plattform men samtidigt är inte motorn alls lika unik, den finns i många andra bilar också. 😊
I slutändan måste du oavsett val vara beredd på att det kommer bli en dyr bil att äga, både i drift/försäkring och underhåll. Men du får också en svårslaget kraftfull kombi att ställa i garaget 😍 /Anton

Hehe each to their own, I do really like the more aggressive design of the C7 and C8 but the more subtle design of the C6 is prefered for many. :)

A very good question! The best person to answer that is the Baron our mechanic, I will check what he says and maybe we should do a separate video on this topic? 🤔 /Anton
The two main problems to look out for are corroded coolant pipes and any sign of an oil leak, which may be an indicator that the oil pump seal needs replacing. Both jobs need the engine out, which will rack up the labour costs significantly. For this age of vehicle, most cars will have had these jobs done by now. Had both jobs done on mine within the last 18 months. Good luck with your purchase, but do your research first otherwise you’ll end up with a money pit. If you’ve got any further questions, let me know and I’ll try to help.
@@marcus5551 great input! We will have some more insights in this question in upcoming videos but the main "problem" with these cars is also the wast number of components that CAN brake. Its impossible to forsee all of them but ofc some major one's like these should always be checked asap.

@@PitstopV10 Hi Anton, I’m from the UK and have owned my RS6 C6 for just over 4 years. It’s been tuned on the dyno to 710 bhp and 1050nm of torque, so very similar to yours. Other than the common issues mentioned, I’ve had relatively trouble free motoring 🤞🏻. It has been well maintained, but repair bills are high, so I’m always anxious every time it goes in for a service. I use an independent RS specialist and now avoid the main Audi dealers. They are just not interested in the older cars and rarely have the expertise to work on these cars. The specialists on the other hand, deal with these on a day to day basis and many have developed workarounds for some of the more extensive repairs. I owned the V8 RS6 C5 before this, so you could say I’m a bit of a fanboy. Look forward to watching further updates on your ‘beast’!
@@marcus5551 Ah I see, thanks for the background story and greetings from Sweden! :) That's honestly quite an impressive amount of torque for what I guess it a otherwise rather stock car? Have you done anything physically to the car other than the software tune? Downpipes or similar?
Yeah you really need to find someone that is a specialist in these cars. I would probably never had the balls to own a V10 car if it would have not been for The Baron our mechanic. The Count one time took the white S6 V10 to an Audi dealer and they wanted to give him a discount service as the technicians could use the car to get more knowledge about the V10 engine... :P That says a lot about how exclusive these cars are these days! I'm glad you take care of your care and hopefully it will serve you well going forward! :) /Anton
Is it possible to convert it into LPG fuel?
Don't think so mate but I honestly don't know. But I dont think it would make much sense as LPG fuel burns hotter than gasoline while E85 burns cooler that even gasoline. And the last thing we need in these engines is more heat! 😅

Which S8 model are we talking about Vaso? :) If it's the S8 D3 with NA V10 you can at least be happy about the fact that your car will have an even better and more beautiful sound! But yeah those extra horse powers is nice... 😬
