Please do more track walks. The in-car camera views are fantastic, but the walks show the true elevation changes. For example, Foxhole doesn’t look half as deep as it does on foot. Kudos to you and Adrian for showing the true Nordschleife. And thank you for the proper approaches to the corners.
This is my second favorite part of the track. My favorite part is that right-hander 2 corners before RUclips. Just some sublime sections when you get them right. Also pretty bad when you get them wrong but I'mma just pretend like me driving skills and especially my simracing skills never allow that to happen 🤣🤣.
I'm always amazed at how radical the elevation changes are when you can see them out of the vehicle, and once you get to see it you get a much better sense of it during video watching of laps, thank you.
Great series and I have bookmarked all episodes. Very helpful advice and in particular useful for those people who do not get there so often. As I look at these episodes I can see that there are many changes since my last visit in 2019.
I think that, from flugplatze till adenauer forst, it is the more difficult part of the track for a « casual » driver. Very high speed, blind corners, lot of elevation changes… This is where your driving skills and fear limits are the most challenged. The rest of the track is more intuitive in my opinion. When u feel that compression at the bottom of foxhole, that’s a weird sensation, like happiness mixed with dread…
You also easily notice the gradient of this Foxhole when you are on a bicycle, not only on foot 🙂 Every year I participate to the "Rad am Ring" event in July, and every time I ride through the Fuchsröhre, my speed gets above 80 km/h without much effort (about ten times faster than my usual speed at the Hohe Acht, I shoud say! 😞)
Nice video again Misha! the Foxhole is fun but indeed really tricky, last year a car in front of me went full sent at the pedestrian crossing and drilled his car into the wall and totaled it... I noticed a lot of "accidents" are done by the driver itself with full sending their cars even tho if they did the first lap. people need to calm down and even better stay on the right all the time if ur new. its still fun, maybe even more fun because the corners become really sharp and bounce you around like a roller coaster... and its less fun if you total your own car because of your own fault.
Foxhole is a serious dangerous place when it comes to overtaking. Off the line both, overtaker and overtaken, are in places where they struggle to keep everything together. Think of it like this: On the line u can go 100% possible speed, off the line it´s 70% or less.
Ah yes the elevation changes are crazy when you see them in reality. I remember that before I came to the Nurburgring for the first time I was watching tons of onboard videos but when I actually did the lap I was completely mindblown how huge these elevation changes are ... and yeah the foxhole is true testical test 🤣🤣
Hey misha, I'm a first timer for a track ever. Does it make any sense doing a touristenfahrt at the first opening week on the nordschleife, if the weather is fine? Or is it going to be packed the whole week? What's your experience? Or should I wait until everybody has calmed down, lol. Maybe some do have to wake up, also. Thanks for your advice. I know you can't give a guarantee. I know I shouldn't go at the weekend or on karfreitag.
Before driving on the Nordschleife, I should first drive on a different 'easier' track. Just so you know what to expect with faster cars around you and what your own behaviour is without any speedlimits. Also it helps to know your car's limits better, without too much consequences due to bigger run off sections at other tracks. I did this as well last year and it was really helpful for me
@@roelvanwijk9425 hm, others who have been there told me that, too. My biggest fear are the other drivers and the fact that I don't know the track in real.

The scenery around Nurburgring is magnificent!!! 😍
Love the walk around series!
hahaha, never noticed the "Exit" graffiti at Ardenau, somebody had a great sense of humour moment when they wrote that
Written in English (meant for the brits lol)
Excellent vid, extremely useful and clear! Well done Misha, as always! Keep going dude 🙌

I remember walking around that area watching the N24-hr race last year. Great video Misha!!
Yeah man. Wicked. Love these videos. ✌ take care.
One of my favourites parts of Nordsleife.
The compression is impresive
Misha thank you for helping our anticipation for the year ahead

Smoof trackwalk! Keep them comin’
4:30 I know someone who has a photo of a wholly unintentional drift in that left-hander... ok it's me. I collected it but damn was that scary :D
Thumbnail made me think of that Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell episode where Gary makes the "Straight outta _____" video series.
This is the only track I drive on PS4s GT Sport lol.

@@mgcharoudin I saw it. So I need that t-shirt first, 😅
@nikoyannaros48 well I answered exactly those 2 questions: no clue. Can be snowing, can be sunny, can be packed, can be dead.

Good video
how long did it take you to walk around the whole track?
What lap time is that big Vermeer trencher running?
Trying to preserve our nature lmao “yea cars go 270kmh thru here”
You had a haircut? Nevertheless, it looks good on you. Awesome video btw!
Mishaaaaa, i get Seasick from this shaky Camera when you go ;-)
Sorry
@@mgcharoudin Don't panic, just a small constructive improvement tip❤
Would you ever do the Isle of man TT ,the link is Mark Higgins Subaru 175 mph round corners
Unfortunately not
👍👍
I wonder was there ever a condition to race that track in reverse direction?
Rallye Köln-Ahrweiler
so why are you walking around it then
I'll keep all that in mind for if my Dream ever comes true 💙🇦🇺5172
