This is my 1st Tekken game, I picked up Xiaoyu as my first main without knowing how much people hate her... watching people getting annoyed while playing against her always warms my heart!
I main her since tekken 3 without knowing she strong all way play who you like not by how strong she is or what people say are just crying about it but if she suit you
Ok so this xiaoyu player is actually extremely calm and calculated. Most xiaoyus are aggressive and mash but this xiaoyu was patient and very defensive. I’m also a very defensive ling player. The only difference is that I love to dance around far more. I defend, watch, bait, then dodge if I can. This xiaoyu is fundamentally strong for fighting straight forward without trying to go into art of Phoenix every time they were pressured. 👍
Its really refreshing to see a Defensive xiaoyu :D. Xiaoyu with Defense is really scary. My playstyle with her is more on Mix ups, Oki, Movement and frame traps.

Honestly this guy has good defense. There's some xiaoyou gimmicks here and there, but overall this is the player. Of course TMM lacking some matchup knowledge, but it's a hard matchup.
That last launcher was a very well timed iws2. It's slow because it's WS, but can counter a lot, and an instant can come out super quick. But even so... wow that was speedy.
Tmm, if you're getting sick of fighting the same people try doing a video or stream unranked. You will get a wide variety of ranks and people. Theres actually alot of good tekken players that only play unranked to stay away from the toxicity.

Learning the dash up QCF 3,4 into 4,3,4 after jet upper would be worth it, ending it with b 3, f, 2,1 nets 72 dmg in the open and it has pretty decent wall travel itself
Character cheese has nothing to do with being sexist. Xiayou and nina are both characters that have a lot of hard to read moves.Unless you actually take time to learn how to counter them your almost always at the disadvantage. TMM explained this in another video talking about lab or gimmick characters.

Second, Xiao's and Nina's pokes have really good frame advantage, even on block, so its not rare to see them chip your life away easily, said moves also have really fast startups. Also their strings (specially Nina's) are really unpredictable because for example, the same jab string can end in 2 or 3 different moves, making it hard to counter or side step for the average player. This kind of tools give them really good pressure, even psycologically, because most of the time you are playing a guess game of 50/50s.
Ling strength is countering opponent pressing buttons at the same time when she does a move. I.e. she crushes them. But if you don't press buttons at the same time as Ling then Ling is suddenly in a very bad position, because most of her powerful moves actually have bad frames, especially on block. This is especially true when she turns her back towards you - it is a good idea to not immediately press anything in that case, unless you know that your move will counter most of her options. So, the general strategy is to be unpredictable with your timing on offense, and play defensively most of the time.

He hates females characters and calls them gimmick characters because he doesn’t properly study their arsenal and gets bodied. He only stands a chance against Ling cuz he’s spent so much time learning. Any other female will destroy him. Ling would still too.
This guys xiayou is amazing. I wish i could do combos like him. She is my highest ranked character (i am still a blue though). I dont understand the hate she gets as lei and yoshi are just as much cheese.

This xiaoyu has some excellent defense, I was expecting a crazier playstyle from the ling player but applaud to you it was very satisfying to watch

Do QCF 3,4 into either B 2,1,4 or B 2,4 if too bc lose or QCF 3,4 into QCB 2,4 same damage but all have different wall travel
@@TheHabibOfMankind honestly, the b 2,4 is what I usually use, not quite good enough to pull off the qcf 3,4 into qcb 2,4 yet, which is max flex.
