      Right, not a whole lot changes expect maybe you can grow some more tender perennials!

    It sounds like you are near where I used to live in Ashtabula Ohio. If you are you should check out John and Steph's place, Red Beat Row. John is a walking encyclopedia of plant knowledge and they teach classes in that area and at their permaculture farm.

    Interesting..they’re getting better at identifying the microclimates. I know we’re right on the edge of 8A..and some years we have an 8A winter-and some years 7B. Last year, for instance..the “arctic blast” around Christmas gave us 9 degrees..7B. But the previous two years we never got below 13-solid 8A

      It’s all based on averages anyways, but still interesting! I was surprised to see so many varying pockets of different zones all in my region.
