Hey thanks for watching the video!
You touched on something that those of us that aren't farmers might find interesting. The social dynamics of the herd, I bet most folks have no idea how that works.
fascinating them details!
Jan awesome content as usual 👍👍👍👍
There is always a pecking order in the human or animal world.
hello, I am also interested in farm work, are you hiring?
I noticed your cows inside and outside the barns hardly ever make a sound. I assume that's because they are super contented, well fed, healthy and kept comfortable.
Your folks are smart business people and doing a great job running that farm along with you and your sister and staff. Always adding and improving. I see no snow, we still have no snow in West Central Minnesota, USA.
Yes, that was a beautiful Sunset; but I also think that at the 4:50 mark, the Sunrise was a gorgeous sign of a great day. Your comment at 15:50 about the ladies working for you and the profits of the farm is good reason for your hard work. That is an excellent & POSITIVE attitude and a good indication of your Work Dilligence & Ethic . Thanks for sharing

Great video, Jan. You are are thoughtful young man, really understanding the cows which is so important. Very interesting Keep the outstanding videos coming.
❤❤❤d the Kitty commentary 😂😂😂. Kitty 😸 said...."Whatever Jan" in the end...😂😂😂. Jan, You're a great Human being and such a Gentleman. Thank you for caring about "the girls" health but loving them as well ❤️🩹. Keep up the great job and videos 🎉🎉🎉.
Congrats on the new feed wagon. She’s a beaut.
Those bales look nice all stacked straight. The cattle will appreciate it when the cold and snow comes. Good video. Pax.
Great video! Love the drone shots of straw. Perspective showing just how much straw y'all have stacked up.
Experience is a great teacher and being open to change whatever you see isn’t working will bring success 👍
Having a job with a great view is a good thing. I’m with you Jan. I’d much rather see a sunset in the country rather than the top floor of a skyscraper any day.
The services supplied to this Dairy such as Dennis and the Equipment Manufacture local Reps, is SO important to a successful operation. It sure could be a lot worse and troublesome. The most important pieces of equipment are their operators, and those that faithfully maintain that equipment. Loved the 'kitty' time on this video...they're also very important to help control the unwanted critters at this Dairy. Please be safe and hopefully a Happy New Year in 2024.
Good work young man👍. The ladies sure appreciate the things that you do for them. Every one wins, and of course, great video..
Jan, I hope you are getting the rest you needed and will be back on u tube with your awesome videos. Sending good thoughts.
Thanks for sharing another day on the farm. Always a pleasure to watch.....
thanks Jane for explaining the importance of what you do as I’m not involved in farming
I totally agree with grouping all pre 3 week calvers in 1 group, same ration. I kept fresh dried off cows, in 1 group, hfrs in another then pulled out cows 3 wks before calving and any hfrs uddering up all into the same grp. They get to interact and adjust, some better than others, before entering the main herd after calving. Kiss- Keep It Simple Stupid, always worth thinking about lol
Hey Yun, you have such a great attitude to working for your ladies.💞🤗🍀
Great video brother from the imperial county California 👍 and have a merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄🎁
How time flies! Doesn't seem that long ago you changed it 😂 Brilliant video 💪🏻 🏴
Thanks for another great interesting video on your farm. Yes the work never stops as you have so many animals to look after to keep them good health and produce lots of milk.
Great video Jan. Always like how much care you give to your livestock. Learned a bit of new information also. Thanks till next time.
Hard to believe it is mid December and you guys are moving bales around like it is fall. I think most of us would like a bigger feed wagon as well until we step on the scale!😮 Don’t sell yourself short Jan, one of the most important pieces of equipment on the farm is probably you.
Milk is my favorite drink! Every day when I drink my milk it reminds me of the work you and your family go thru everyday so I can drink a cold glass of milk. Thank You from the Bottom of My Heart!
Good job guys
Greetings from Puerto Vallarta Mexico Jon🙋
Greetings from Puerto Vallarta Mexico Jon🙋🇲🇽
Great video ,this family works hard daily, congratulations on the new equipment , stay safe , enjoy , have fun !
Great video. Love the drone shots!
Great job, great video!! Go on like this!!
Always learning😊
Great video 👍
Jan, I did the math and that feed wagon will do roughly 7300 loads of feed on your farm. Kinda crazy to think about
Wow super clean. I do like that fact your you can equate your efforts to keeping your ladies happy and then onto milk production and that is what is paying your wages. You have some great sunsets/sunrises.
No snow here in UK, hopefully it will stay that way.
I use to feed 2,000 milking, plus 300 dry and closeups with a Supreme 900T. 16 loads a day. Took about 8 hours a day. It was in California, so labor was cheap. Supreme is a great brand.
I agree that the feed wagon is an important machine on a dairy farm but the most important thing is the electric motor that runs the parlour vacuum pump . No vacuum no milking. 🏴
👍
I appreciated the cow socialization bit. Thanks.
Yea I do like your office space respect to y’all
Good morning from India
Nice technology.
Keep it tup
Nice video
Love all your videos.
Lol! The heifers were trying to sneak into the office to get online to check your channel to see if they were featured in the B roll. 😄
Observe, devise an experiment to test a hypothesis, and review - the scientific method.
Things running swimmingly.
Best of the season
nice video
I'd like to try that on my car! Instant clean looks new!!
Cat: Work smarter, not harder.
Need to see the cat more often. He is a RUclips star in the making!
14:15 that's a good outlook on some hard work jan ur a good man
tweaking and observing daily details! Anticipation!

They work hard for you you work hard for them love it thanks for the video
Would a 16 or 20 ft. Plow blade make pushing manure into a pile then use a bucket to load in spreader be faster and cost efficient considering time and cost of diesel? Maybe not but ive welded them up for snow plowing and its not as expensive as you might think
What a legend ...gad I could meet you Jan love the content !!!
❤
Very interesting video today, although I'm always interested. Thank you for the video 😊🎄🇺🇲
Outstanding video Jan hartstkke goed. We have more snow in Ontario then you out there currently.
have you ever tried the DeLaval Evanza milk clusters? they are amazing!!
I think somebody has developed a feasible tire face removal machine, I have noted a lot of silage piles with just the sidewall rings thrown up on them to hold plastic down, it eliminates the water build up inside the tires and of course that means no breeding ground for mosquitoes either.
yep - and you get two sidewalls from every tyre. And the stack nicer
and you get more in a scoopfull
I quickly looked up that Gold CR11 combine on the internet .. that is a wicked machine ..
if you are using net wrap why not get a proper double bale spear set up, for days when you are moving lots of bales, pay for itself in a few days with less broken bales and it would be way faster.
Hi, Jan great video, nice weather out there! Greetings back to Dennis on behalf of the family Verkleij from the Netherlands:)
🇨🇦
Good morning.
Farming is a little bit of this a little bit of that.. all works with the right moves. Looks like you ahead of the game in everything you are doing there.
Is there a reason for different sized silage bunkers? Is there a best size?
Was the white stuff on the barley silage mold or just ice when u opend it?
Something must be wrong, where is Jan? Can't stop driving the Raptor to make more videos???
been gone a month now. Bit worried about him.
Get setup of the farm like you an your sis videos. So what’s your next project big project on the farm 👍😀
Hello Jan, congratulations on your new mixer wagon, I don't see a sticker from Full-Line-AG. Didn't you buy it from your friend Austin?
Regular James Bond bringing the drone in the roof. Dennis seems to be a great guy to do business with.
I guess Dennis has some Netherlands ancestry
Would you guys consider a self propelled feed wagon. It could potentially save in wasted feed because of how it Shaves off the bunker silage so there is less spoiled feed.
Theres no such thing as wasted feed as the Steers in the corrals need feed as well and usually they don't feed lots of feed to the Cows inside and outside as well usually it's Only enough for all the Cows to be fed their feed as when they feed a little extra to the Cows inside the Barn the left overs doesn't go in the rubbish it goes to the steers in the corrals outside No feed goes to waste it's used for the steers in the corrals.
@@svfproductions9520 Better quality feed might be a better phrasing. Could potentially gain more milk. And at the same time, it's only one machine. You can no need for a wheel loader to feed anymore
A lot more turning parts on the self-propelled mixer wagon though!
These machines can build houses
Love the hair Jan! 😍
3:34 😂😂😂😂😂😂
maybe touch on your work schedule sometime - do you even get off early or weekend off.....or ??
we see you put in hours - early mornings - late evenings and saturdays and sundays - and what is there to do out there on the prairie after work 👀👀
Interesting video. Nice feed mixer. Dennis is an interesting fella, kinda the type of fella we could sit and bull💩 with. 😂😂😂
Funny after watching you for years..... I was not aware that there is a boss cow. I find your video's very informative and entertaining
Yet another amazing vid Jan. Would you consider parking the feed wagon and tractor in the feed alley if you wanted a bigger mixer?
The Juno would hit it, but we did used to do that in our old barn a long time ago!
GOOD MORNING
10:00 Could you increase the number of netwrap layers for this rotary combine straw?
Did you go to the Supreme factory for a tour when you visited New Mars Dairy since you were only about 20 miles away?
Do you have any idea how many cats are on the farm, and do they do a good enough job as far as rodent control?
Cat -Meow
Farmer- o yea i bet
lol 😆
Have u ever looked at a Lucknow feed mixer?
👍👌❤️🇨🇦
Would a self-driver be an option for you?
How's the new soft ware going????❤🙏
Buy an extra at a farm auction just for backup
Hope you talk more about what a boss cow is.
Sass in da house
The most important piece of equipment on the dairy farm is your milking parlour.
Jan, you give that poor kitty grief for allowing the cows to lick her fur and the next moment it looks like the cows got to your hair with that great big cow lick poof in front. 🤣😂🤣😂
What is a boss cow?
Ferdinand says, “woof;” that face hair, those lips, those sapphires, those brows, and, holy cow, that hair! “woof!” calves can give Buster hair a “calflick”, Ferdinand will give hair-face hair a cowlick…cow doing something to yer knob *rolls around on the ground mooing hysterically*
“I’m gonna make you an offer you can’t refuse!”…don’t let Neline near those knives…always make sure things fit…um, uh, um, whoa; get the long bow and run through the woods - look like a ranger/hunter/bowman - forest blues?…nice and snug; no touching…there’s that nice leg…brilliance in the sky…Denis the Menace a-splodin’ the bales…company picking tires?...DK sunset?...allowing beliefs to shift shows flexibility and can lead to better living…enjoyed the dubs all through the vid..."Can't you see the music is just starting, Night is calling, and I am falling, Dance with me?"
🤠 please...you're such a tease
Cat is likely sick if they aren't self cleaning, worth wetting a rag and giving it a wipe down once in awhile when it gets like that.
Makes them hold heat better, so they can handle illness a bit more easily.
tire toss seems to be vanishing
Is Tire Toss a new version of Horseshoes?
This one has a single axle, I believe.🤔
The cows just wanted you to come out and play! lololol!!!!!!
You wanne see the newest new holland combine in the factory in belgium?
Yes
@@saskdutchkid how can i send you pictures
Hi, where is the new feed wagon manufactured?
Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada.
Out of interest, what is your average daily milk yield from the cows?
