buy yourself a good used kit and have at it. start simple. one of the best ways to learn drumming is to get yourself a rubber pad and two sticks (firth please).

It's the Export snare that comes with the kit, but I'm sure you could order it through an authorize Pearl Dealer and it wouldn't be too much at all! Especially since the kit with hardware and the Demonator pedal is only 600, so I'm sure just the snare would be very affordable too!

They don't sell them new anymore, you'd have to find it used. You can get the kit I'm playing on in this video new, it's the Pearl EXX Export, the new one with mahogany in the shells!

Hey man! yeah they're great sticks! Those A crashes are sweet right? Such a nice wash to them and the sound great together! The 18" medium-thin crash is about 240 I think and the 20" thin is about 280. Definitely worth every penny! They're some of my favorite sounding crashes I've ever played!
valantis christodoulou That's what I thought :P Drumming, especially when playing fast and hard songs, requires a lot of focus, therefore a lot of us end up with a funny looking drummer face, nothing unusual, though :>
Naw. We drummers like to see if other drummers have the skill/availability to make a clean cover of the song. Playing the song like the album isn’t easy. Sometimes i need to watch drum cover videos to figure out certain parts of a song

Caelah Garlejo Are you a drummer? No hate but if a cymbal is too cranked down on to the stand, it doesn’t give the room needed to move and fluctuate, meaning it will crack a lot sooner, but up loose cymbals!
I would never criticise anyone for hitting the drums too hard as my favourite drummer is John Bonham and he hit very, very hard. For such a hard hitter it is hard to comprehend the feel and finesse he had and some of the fills he used to just throw in at live events were genius. One of my other favourite drummers is Dave Grohl and he also hits very hard. More solid than Taylor Hawkins who is a supremely talented drummer but effective at the same time. The start of Teen Spirit is genius, It is so simple but when I used to do it prior to the start of a gig people would say Teen Spirit so we all want to create a signature fill like that.
FocsBLAC actually butch vig said when he saw nirvana in a meeting for the first time they played it for him and he was faceplanted when the drums came in
I love all the fun he's having in the beginning. Drummers deserve to be seen moar and the flourishen he's doing really does that justice.

I would say look for a used Pearl kit if you're looking for a normal type of kit! My Export ELX that I played forever was used :)
