Wow! What a great interview of a great Australian!!! Thank you Paul Kelly and Brian. My 11yo son plays your songs on guitar and harmonica because of you. Thank you so much for your honesty, humility, and truth.
Wonderful interview! As a relatively new devotee of "From Little Things, Big Things Grow" "Bradman" ( even though I find cricket absolutely incomprehensible!) and "Making Gravy " and being from the far side of the world Ireland, this interview fills in so much background to this marvellous performer. Brillant!
"Playing the bongos for a while" haha I can so relate to that. Oh the bluegrass, just incredible. Bought both CDs after a PK concert in the regional town in which I live. Came home after the concert and listened to both into the wee hours sitting on the back stairs. still playing them regularly today.
Paul 's music I have to say has been a part of me since late 1970s ~ we were friends back then when he was with the Dots. But as I'm Paul's age, I've experienced too much hurt and grief ~ Paul's music in these recent few years ~ adore the Shakespeare ~ bless you yr music has not only touched my heart but close to saving my sanity! Bless you, Juliet in Melbourne 🙏🏽🌹🌿💋

Enjoyed that interview. Paul Kelly’s collaborations are extensive and diverse.
Not surprised he ended up intersecting the Archie Roach pathway
Thanks for watching, Petra.

Steve Connolly was a gent. I remember hosting a home dinner with Steve in attendance when he joined Sherry Rich
