    I don't understand people's obsession over bezels. These look completely functional and utilitarian.

      I actually want tablet to have bit of bezels. Had one Samsung with very slim bezels and damn it was annoying to use. Palm detection is common to be bad and increase annoyance etc. Also had Nexus 7 and its about 1cm wide bezels were great imo. Could easily rest thumb in bezel using it and it didn't hinder usage at all. On laptops I understand increasing display size to maximum possible, but not in tablets.

    I really lucked out, bought this on the 13th through Amazon for $109.99. It works better than my old Samsung Tab A7 Lite.

    I picked one of these up on sale at Lenovo directly with 64gb/4gb ram for $119. At that price it's a fantastic deal. Way faster than the Samsung A7 Lite, the other smaller tablet with which it's most compared in the US.

      I was going to get a MacBook Air to supplement my larger, heavier gaming laptop for light-duty tasks and content consumption but went with this tablet instead. I got the same model as you for $115, and with Lenovo rewards + 10% Rakuten cash back, my total out-of-pocket cost will be less than $70. I'm also going to grab a keyboard case, which looks like can be had for around $30.

    • @BGeldz
      @BGeldz 11 месяцев назад

      @@saturnotaku - that's a great deal. Enjoy it. Can you please post which keyboard case you were looking at? I may do the same. Thanks!

      @@BGeldz The one I'm looking at is the Wineecy Backlit Keyboard Case for Lenovo Tab M9 Case 9 Inch 2023. It's currently listed for $34. There's a slightly cheaper version of the same that's sold under a different name. It's not backlit, though, and that's a feature I do want as there will be times I'll use the tablet in the dark. I'll probably also pick up a screen protector and perhaps a Chromecast to mirror RUclips and such. With all these extra accessories, it will still be a fraction of the price of the MacBook Air, even a refurbished M1.

    Best Buy supposedly has this for 99.99 right now. Can't beat that price. I searched the whole internet, then decided to go with features over name brand reliability. I instantly regretted that decision. I brought an off brand Blackview Tab Pro 7 instead for essentially the same price point, solely because it had more impressive specs. Before even turning on the off brand device I already noticed a small spec of foreign material inside the display. That would not have been a deal breaker on it's own, except the spec of material created a bubble in the display which is quite noticeable and distracting. I went with the off brand Blackview over the name brand Lenovo because it supposedly has 6 GB memory and 8 MP and 13 MP camera specs. The off brand Blackview interface feels clunky and cheap, and the manufacturer has a privacy policy which the Chinese company states it will have access to all of my data unless object in writing, which I suppose I'm just supposed trust if if I tell them "no", they won't collect or harvest my data. I plan on returning the off brand Blackview unit I just bought to Amazon if they will take it back, then going with the Lenovo instead.

    Back in the day people would have a small TV in the kitchen. Now tablets like this are a perfect replacement for the old school kitchen TV . This tablet can serve needs such as local news, light TV programming, music, pluto tv, ,youtube, etc.

    Lon, I'm glad that you are making more videos about android tablets. With that being said, I wish there were more options for android tablets like back in the day when there was so many brands to choose from when it comes to android tablets. Nowadays the selection of android choices for android has shrunken down. It's mostly samsung and apple, sometimes the pixel and one plus as an honorable mention. I miss lg, htc, sony, huawei, xiaomi, zte, nvidia shield tablets etc. I have no interest in any of the newer tablets since they cost the same price as a laptop while laptops have more ports, micro sd card slot, optional physical sim card slot for mobile data and a charger included in the box. There are only an exception with maybe the budget tablets like the lenovo m9 and the budget samsung galaxy tab s6 lite. When it comes to windows tablet, I'm not sure since there are more windows tablets than android tablets plus they can be used like a full fledged pc due to the full version of windows with windows desktop apps plus android apps can be installed on windows 11. I'm more interested in chromebooks because of android apps support, can run windows apps when using parallels as a virtual machine, optional linux apps, support for steam games with certain chromebook models whenever google decides to have an update to run steam games like the steam deck but on a chromebook whenever google makes it's available. I use google and microsoft so that's why I prefer to have choices and not proprietary. I don't trust e-sims since they have still have too many flaws and not 100% reliable. It would take a whole new paragraph if I need to explain the flaws and issues when dealing with e-sims. I used to work for cricket wireless and dealing with e-sims have too many problems and limitations. Meanwhile, the newer phones and tablets only have a charging cable in the box and have gotten more expensive. Whenever I sell a phone or tablet, I always try to include the charger with the charging cable and sometimes the box if still have the box to included when I sell a phone or tablet. However, the only time I don't include the charger is if the person that I'm selling to wants the charger and sometimes they say yes and sometimes they say no since they already have a charger but I always ask just to make sure so I know if they need a charger or not.

      As a tablet man and a bear I’ll talk soft head as it relates. it’s CORRECT to think that this bear has a VERY SMOOTH HEAD. You must be thinking, “does he use Head And Shoulders Shine Plus?” That would be incorrect. The answer is a bear TRADE secret. ... PACK YOUR BAGS AT ONCE!!!!! WHEREAS this bear needs one more ingredient to get such a SMOOTH HEAD. if you are guessing it’s a quality conditioner with TRUE PLANT EXTRACTS you are correct. TRUE STORY between THIS BEAR and my NON-bear friend ... me: ron is going at 6 mine is at 5 im also getting it free Brandon: how me: i said look its a promotion clearly oyu want to drum up business so what is everyting that they do Brandon: haircut, shoe shine, beer, nails, hot towel and brief neck massage, hand massage me: is it just a standard barber with frills - it sounds like a haircut diner jack of all trades Brandon: yeah me: my hair requires a highler level of skill. i may fire your guy midstream. At 3 GBs RAM is this a 32-bit computer? Can the machine be opened by the user to upgrade the storage? Can a memory card be inserted to expand the storage? If so how much extra storage does it support? This could be used with another computer as part of a Home Theater PC. Like as the graphical touch screen remote for creating playlists for audio, video, home movies, movies, photographs, etc. It would also be useful as part of a printer kiosk. With that type of use people can browser through the image catalog, tap on the ones they like, have it sent to a compatible printer. It could make for a means for a store owner or festival artist to provide hard copies of digital images. Or even prints of the photos on the customer's smart phones. Also useful for Video artists who want to showcase their video catalog while on the go or at a concert or festival to potential clients. Or even just for fun. Add the right kind of prism to the top of the display from Edmund Scientific to convert it into a funky video display for trippy psychedelic visuals.
