Thank you very much KAY AUTO !!! I have a Nissan Sentra 2015 with this tow codes P0846 and P2859. After searching in the web I found you and your video, I bought the body valve directly in the dealer. I followed all your steps and my car works wonderful. I'm not a mechanic just only by necessity. Thank you very very much.
I'm so grateful for videos like this. The mechanics and several enthusiasts will tell you that you need a new transmission at the first sign of a transmission issue. Please everyone research well before taking the first advice. Especially Nissan Sentra drivers.
Hey Kay, great video explanation! how many quarts did you end up using 4? I’m getting code P0965 for pressure control solenoid B and was looking to swap the 4 solenoids out in hopes that it’s fixes the rpm fluctuations while accelerating. I’ve already done both filters and fluid swap on 2014 Sentra with 150k miles . No change still rpms fluctuate. Now that I’m seeing your video, would it be worth changing out that valve body altogether ?? Do you have a link to the eBay valve body with solenoids for reference or recommendation on seller for eBay ? Thanks much 👍
Thank you so much my brother I’m gonna put the link in the comments so you can get one from there www.nissanoempartsdirect.com/oem-parts/nissan-valve-assembly-kit-control-3170e28x0b
Hello, mine says solenoid valve for torque converter, do you think replacing the valve body will doive the problem ? What are the original torque specs ?
Before you go ahead replacing the valve body, have someone with advanced scanner scan your car, something there might be hidden fault and it will not throw light on the dash,
I couldn’t find a torque either so I just use the manual ratchet and I make sure it’s tight but not too tight to the point that it’s gonna break so just take it easy on it
Hi, I got it online from Nissan. I’m gonna put the link in the description so you can get one if you want. Thank you.www.nissanoempartsdirect.com/oem-parts/nissan-valve-assembly-kit-control-3170e28x0b

I have a 2015 Sentra and the valve body was replaced at 22k miles. Now, i get a little slippage from.2 to 3rd gear. If roll.a stop sign or corner the car stutters then yanks. I scanned the car and no codes are coming up. Do you think it could be the valve body again even wirh no error code?
@@cberrios1188 it's parked, but before it was i had more symptoms. Now there is a whine coming from the transmission. And sometimes it would jolt on me at a stop sign. Felt like i got hit from behind. And shut off twice when that happened. Im now thinking its a torque convert. Im driving my truck and probably gonna junk the car. Don't think its work fixing. When any repair is carried out on the transmission, an adjustment must be made to the auxiliary gearbox so that it measures the level of the clutches and prevents slipping and knocks.
Hope you can help I have a 2013 Altima 2.5 drives fine but after long trips and I get on a stop then take off is really slow takes a little to speed up and currently giving me code p0776 (fluid is a little brown)
Hi Alex thanks for reaching out, so P0776 is a generic code that indicates that there’s a problem with the transmission pressure control solenoid B. What’s causes this problem could be low fluid or very dirty fluid or bad shift solenoid. With Nissan cvt transmissions it is recommended to change the fluid every 30 or 40k miles. In this case you can replace the complete cvt valve body and flush the transmission and should be all set.
i have a 2016 nissan sentra sv 1.8 runs fine in park and neutral but once in drive or reverse it shudders and stalls...only if i add gas itll drive normal but once i stop itll stall again could it be a valve body and mind you i scanned the car and no DTC for transmission or engine? im thinkin transmission
Kindly check all your motor mounts, check transmission fluid level, and scan it again with bigger scanner then you can you ahead and change the valve body.

Mines doing the same thing, where did you buy the part?
Hello, mine says solenoid valve for torque converter, do you think replacing the valve body will doive the problem ? What are the original torque specs ?
What were you adjusting with the little vice grip during install. Was it the stepper motor link?
Where did you order the valve body mines is jumping rpms when I drive it reading p0846
Do you need to reprogram the valve body after you install the new used one
No programming needed, just plug and play

Code p0965 pressure solenoid B control it’s part of the valve body ? Better replace the valve body or just the solenoid B from that code

Mine say torque converter you think is valve body wont pass 40 mph also all solenoid by zeus scanner are on
I’ll say replace the valve Body and also the torque converter and you’ll be all set
My 2014 Sentra slips at low speed, it drives fine at high speed. What’s the problem could be? Thank you
Having the same issue only slips at low speeds but at high speeds mine doesn’t slip did you figure out the issue was it the valve body ?
how many quarts did you put in?
Was there any reprogramming needed?
No reprogramming needed Derrek, just reset the check engine light. But with some cars it gonna require a reprogramming. Thanks
Ratio control valve had spring on it!
Where the control pressure solenoid B located
how many quarts did you put in?
