"The future's fine, nothing wrong with the future really. I could do with a haircut and a wash, and I've forgotten how to wear clothes." Why didn't you warn us, Future Matt? Whyyyyyyyyyy!?
Barenpark is a great game. Really love any game where you can see the fruits of your labour at the end of it, a nice picture of the progress you've made throughout a session. It plays quickly and is very much a nice little warm and comforting addition to my collection. The expansion doesn't seem needed but I like that it adds another dimension (hah) to the game experience.
Love how much SU&SD are continuing to move forward and elevate their production and presentation, but this particular subject matter brought me back to missing Paul all over again
No I don’t know what you’re talking about, this is the first time we’ve done it. We definitely didn’t get a rule wrong even though it was quite clear in the manual, and repeated.
Perfect, as always, guys! I was waiting when Phil will make the game a little more difficult and ... oh you! You just made me buy this expansion! Love your reviews. Thank you!
Okay, was playing minecraft on the other monitor when the bad news bears started grumbling and I began freaking out about how a zombie got in my base and what the hell is this noise it's making?
Funny story - we originally had it spelled properly but it caused Google to unlist it from search results in North America. So we had to change it to the wrong spelling for Google. Same with our Gùgōng review.
The Jurassic Park skit fits so well with this type of game! Makes me wonder why they haven't tried to get the license so that they really could make a Jurassic Park building game..
I'd like to point out a pronunciation mistake in the video. Although it's spelt B-E-A-R, the animal's name is actually pronounced "bar", hence Barenpark. Thank you.
I personally found the original barenpark a little dull. It lacks much interaction between players. At least the roll and write games have you responding to the same thing, but in Barenpark you just take whatever is left. It's like you are all playing a solo game and compare points when it's all over.
I expected a game about An aging, down-on-his-luck ex-minor leaguer coaching a team of misfits in an ultra-competitive California little league. So disappointed.
Little pet peeve of mine: I love your videos, but I wish you would put just a little bit more effort into respresenting international games better. For example writing the game's name with an Ä instead of an A (the two dots are not just aesthetic but convey meaning!) or - talking about a different video of yours - translating "6 nimmt" correctly. Your videos have really high production quality and hiccups like these just take away from the overall good experience.

@@Roxfox I didn't realize the head of the freeform comment racing rules committee was here, from now on I'll keep my lies out of the view of the public like to kids in the playground or old people.
I honestly hate how weirdly the skirt starts the video, it feels really abrupt. I feel like it needed more of a lead in. Though I do recognize they've had to re-edit it like twice so they're probably fed up with the whole thing XD
"There's nothing wrong with the future" Oh, oh the glory days of November, 2019.
The irony gets even sweeter the further into the future you go 🤣

@@bobdole8830 the future matt segment had two takes, since as it turns out going back in time is glitchy and creates a lot of parallel timelines
I only saw the second one.
This is the fourth version in one of the earlier ones there was a scene that was broken entirely and it just had some warning from the editing program

Love how the background not the Jurassic Park parody is the classic windows xp background

I swear this game was called Bëarenpark, I've clearly fallen into an alternate timeline.
And I swear it was called the Mendala Effect, not the Mandela Effect. But sometimes a hallucination is nothing more than that.
That's gold
Or maybe it is both : www.reddit.com/r/MandelaEffect/comments/4w83y2/holy_shit_found_berenstein_evidence_while_packing/
"Pandora's Box of Hubris" would be a great board game
I can't resist the overwhelming desire to "fiddle with the latch a bit and step away..." 😄
That intro is everything!!! LOL The future blip part is hilarious...way to recover! Love it guys! Love this review, love this game and expansion!
Another awesome video - love what you guys do and how polished the videos always look!
Timeline shenanigans? Someone call Brendan, he'll sort this out. With violence.
Thanks for reediting the video in time for me to actually watch it the first time lol

That Banjo-Kazooie music though. Don't we all just love Grant Kirkhope?
We do!
Its kinda like that one part of A Feast for Odin but with 98% more bear!
Didn't you upload this review a few hours ago, but you left in two takes of the time travel bit? The council of boardgames will have your head!
absolutely no idea, no, don't know what you're talking about

Ryan Valdez thank you! Have a lovely weekend 🙂

That future bit gave me some serious Stories Untold vibes.
I loved the Banjo Kazooie bit they put in there
I love the Jurassic franchise, but I think that I might love the Bear franchise even more!
The themepark owner's name clearly should have been "The Baron Park"
Wow, is that a BeOS reference?
@@egregius9314 I have to idea what you're talking about. It's just a pun on the words baron and bären.

At some point, future generations will watch this video and won't get the joke about bears not being extinct :(
I'm terrified of bears and this game is in my top 10 horror games of all time
Okay wait, when did this channel get *even better*?!

Wow this game really would be incredible with a Jurassic park re-brand
I said this in the other baren park review but a Tiger King reskin I something I really need.
Great opening scene
I'm sure the last time it was uploaded the title said Bärenperk
OH SO THAT'S WHAT THAT DELETED VIDEO WAS
Can I finish the video this time? 😄
Thumbs up for Banjo-Kazooie music.
I though i was watching a dinosaur island review for a minute.
You got the future half right. (Haven't changed your clothes, etc.)
I was hoping for a phone in cameo from Paul the bear lover guy.
Park Niedźwiedzi :)
Weird, I'm sure the title of the video was spelled correctly before... it's Bärenpark of course!

3rd time the charm, right?
Many Barenpark players ask the question... how cool are those monorails?
Banjo Kazooie music! Noice

I don't know which is the real time dimension anymore
I was hoping for a Jeff Goldblum impression at the end there..

DAHUH!
Great rules correction
This video sounded like Tolerian Community College
I miss the lost timeline of the Bärenpark. Why there typo in the title? Orginal timeline did't have that.
I heard pandas weren't bears. That's not true, is it?

Try a game called dino island
I saw a Jurassic park game in John Lewis the other day, not so much building a park but escaping from it.
If only Future Matt told us about 2020....

Nope, sorry. His pronunciation isn't that bad. There is not an A but an Ä wich pronounce very close to baer. If you pronounce it the German way.
Monorail and no mention of the Simpsons episode about Springfield getting a monorail?
I think the Simpsons already did it
I SWEAR it was spelled Berenpark when I grew up.
