Very interesting about the steering angle sensor. I never knew there was such a thing until I had a dash warning light come on in my Chrysler 300. I didn't feel like paying some dealership $100 an hour to figure out what was wrong and turn it off so I went online and learned that by turning the steering wheel all the way right, then all the way left, and doing that twice, that would turn off the light. Sure enough it worked. That particular warning light can come on when the battery is discharged which is what happened to my car. Who knew that? Anyway that's the first I knew there was a steering angle sensor in the steering wheel.

Security Torx fasteners can often be removed with a normal Torx, taking care to keep the face of the bit square to the screw head.
Alternatively, you can sometimes break off the "weird dot" with a flathead to get full engagement, like I used to on DeWalt battery packs before I got the proper Security Torx bits (which are only like $12 at Home De Pot).
