John Ruiz did well -- much better than anybody expected. However, for commentators to suggest that Ruiz won (let alone get robbed) is 24 carat bullshit. Bobby Czyz is just bitter that Holyfield battered him senseless when they fought in the mid 90s. Ruiz outlanded Holyfield, but there was not a single time in all 12 rounds that he had Evander in trouble... where as almost 80% of Evander's power shots and combinations visible moved Ruiz and caused him to hold for dear life. Holyfield busted Ruiz up pretty good. It would have been stupid for judges to gift rounds to Ruiz for inconsequential taps in comparison to Holyfield's destructive connects. No question that The Real Deal won.

@@camilocienfuegos2866 i saw that fight of czyz with holyfield there was something visible rare in boby's eyes red and with tears off course he gonna complain, he battered ? czys was coming from miuddleweight and was outboxing evander, till his eyes started buttering him, by other hand the only shot holyfiedl cause damage to ruiz was the one in the second round, withh all those muscles holyfield power wasnt that big

He couldn't really hurt Ruiz though and was in real danger at all times having to pull a flawless performance out the bag to win and never fighting st heavyweight again. James Toney on the other hand also came up from 160 but he beat the living shit out of Ruiz and other heavyweights proving himself to be legit in the division. Roy isn't all that. No chin whatsoever. I'm going to get such shit for this but Roy Jones is the most over hyped fighter in history..mainly because of showboating. It's crazy.

Evander actually has a little bit of success in this first fight okay look at him trying to heart straight counter uppercut Andy rail the inside pass of entry okay but the mistake he's making is that from John Ortiz is not fighting outside he's fighting inside and he's not fighting out of the hockey clinch he's fighting around the hockey clinch like Lennox Lewis so by the time evander holyfield whatever lupus glove and scoop his scapula John Ortiz like Shane Mosley on Floyd Mayweather is just going to rip his glove out from underneath evander holyfield's armpit eluding him the opportunity to get him out of a hockey clinch
Especially being so size advantaged that he can always reverse the glove loop scapular scoop until the refs come and break it up now he can build a shipping a bottle poker line with a stick or put evander holyfield on a leash by fighting from inside and around the hockey clinch like Lennox Lewis against Shannon Briggs being vertically advantage enough to fight and defend from inside and in the hockey clinchEvander actually has a little bit of success in this first fight okay look at him trying to heart straight counter uppercut Andy rail the inside pass of entry okay but the mistake he's making is that from John Ortiz is not fighting outside he's fighting inside and he's not fighting out of the hockey clinch he's fighting around the hockey clinch like Lennox Lewis so by the time evander holyfield whatever lupus glove and scoop his scapula John Ortiz like Shane Mosley on Floyd Mayweather is just going to rip his glove out from underneath evander holyfield's armpit eluding him the opportunity to get him out of a hockey clinch
Especially being so size advantaged that he can always reverse the glove loop scapular scoop until the refs come and break it up now he can build a shipping a bottle poker line with a stick or put evander holyfield on a leash by fighting from inside and around the hockey clinch like Lennox Lewis against Shannon Briggs being vertically advantage enough to fight and defend from inside and in the hockey clinchLook at the little bit of success evander holyfield has on John Ortiz he has a jab hook just like Floyd Mayweather on zab Judah but like I said he's just holding zab Judah or Andre Ward in one place in order to hard straight upstairs to the inside not to mention hahaha in both cases it looks like an uppercut right left hook but it's actually just a two-hook jobs
Look at this uppercut hook to the Head which is really just a two right hooks from the body to the Head like Mike Tyson and James Tony on evander holyfield the more vertical combo of all the defensive inside combos remember this was the only force of passage forced by Mike Tyson or James Tony two sides disadvantaged people against evander holyfield
Now look at this right left hook hard left hook he throws right after that this is all in one scene one flurry of punches but this right left hook all left hook is that there of Floyd Mayweather on Hernandez that he was unable to land on Oscar Hoya or Victor Ortiz not because his size disadvantage but because his vertical disadvantage out of the hockey clinch
Now obviously Darnell Boone can throw a right left hook hard left hook a vertically disadvantaged Adonis Stevenson and go on to RKO knock him out but he lacks the vertical advantage out of the hockey clinch to do it to Hazel's Gonzalez
obviously Terence Crawford can throw her right left hook hard left hook at David benavidez and RKO knock him out now it still has the vertical leverage out of the hockey clinch to fight independent from inside and out of the hockey clinch
Dubstep hard left hook heart rate counter uppercut from evander holyfield on a vertically disadvantaged and John Ruiz remember Floyd Mayweather's uppercut right left hook appreciate it until a job straight on a vertically disadvantaged Oscar Hoya but what they say to us is that evander holyfield is winning the fight inside and outside in of the hockey clinch y'all need to realize if John Ruiz comes back to when it won't be out of the hockey clinch it'll be inside and outside but it won't be out of the hockey clinch the perfect paradigm
Dubstep hard left hook rkd Knox John Ruiz out help me understand what he did so well to win the judges over in the scorecards three times in a row this is telling us that evander holyfield is winning the outside fight in the hockey clinch spoiler alert John Ruiz is about to launch something a little more problematic inside and outside but not in the hockey clinch perfectly around the hockey clinch like Lennox LewisNow take a look at when John Ortiz text the offense okay and he's straightjab jab straight like Dimitri devil and Victor Ortiz this says that he's having more success defensively on the outside then he is offensively on the inside I guess the smaller inside fighter
Now take a look at this right left hook hard left hook from John Ortiz that is to no real avail okay he better holyfield he's really just punching John's glove John Ruiz is actually just doing the same thing and to no real avail but what he's doing is he's keeping the vertical leverage inside and out of the hockey clinch like Oscar Hoya and Victor Ortiz on Floyd Mayweather
If nobody lands a clean shot if nobody knocks anybody out which nobody does the judges are going to take that into the scorecard not evander's ability to knock him over not John's ability to durate the rounds and Hawkeye wounded animal but his vertic
al leverage on the inside and out of the hockey clinch
Drive straight arcade from John Ruiz
Now evander holyfield is flopping all over the place in a desperate attempt to get John Ruiz out of a hockey clinch just like Floyd Mayweather against Oscar Hoya but to someone even if he is a little vertically disadvantaged with so much length and size and length in the upper body and who is pound for pound very light so so much speed or finalization has been made available to him IT'S NOT ONLY AT A GLOVE LOOP SCAPULAR SCOOP ADVANTAGE TO REVERSE THE VERTICAL DISADVANTAGE BUT TO RIGHT LEFT HOOK HARD LEFT HOOK AND UPPERCUT RIGHT LEFT HOOK SO HE JUST TURNED THE TIDE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE
What y'all need to realize is that this speed and finalization he does not share with Lennox Lewis okay someone who's just as big as he is in length in the upper body

Ruiz should have fought the Klitschkos. I believe Ruiz won't last more than two rounds.
