i remember seeing a comment somewhere saying it would be cool to explore the dark timeline for destiny 3 and how we can save it or if they reset our loot just have us start in the dark timeline as a new person and we can explore that side of the lore instead.
A prequel might make sense, they would be able to expand the lore effectively. We would see legendary things that are only mentioned in the lore books and in terms of the leaks about no more classes would make sense in the context of an era where Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks were not really a thing.
@@Vaas-v1x i am an iron lord, though Saladman refuses to adress me as such🙄 i had the sword to prove it too, but after Ghaul attacked...😑 so yeah, its kikda been done🙃
Every time I see Xivu'Arath's armored form... I am reminded of Lingering Will from KH2FM... and the fact that she is the god of war... Man I am not looking forward to that confrontation. RAGE AWAKENED!
Right now, not really. But id love for them to send a war moon into Sol and really give us the might of the Hive. Same with the Vex. Feels like a lot of the threats have been holding back with the witness being such a threat to non paracausal beings. Im excited to see them arriving in full force after TFS
Dude- when they were talking about enemy factions and they were talking about the crab aliens I realized how much I've been wanting to fight a horde bug enemies for so long (Esp. after Helldivers). I know the Hive are "bug like" but I mean truly nasty grotesque Super Trooper style hordes of nasties.
We’ve been teased Old Chicago for years. We’ve had stories of it being overrun with Hive, of Guardians going there and not coming back, finding Golden Age tech and clawing their way out, and of things in the swamp that sound like the creatures that hunted Drifter’s crew. Sounds like a dungeon to me. We haven’t seen so much just on Earth, I’m shocked they’ve not done anything involving major landmarks yet. Imagine going to the Nuclear Zone and the only thing that isn’t a crater is the Statue of Liberty, so you can see it from everywhere on the map. No one alive today would have any idea of it’s meaning.
I think it would be seeing what is outside sol because in the lore it’s pretty fucked as the darkness has just been wiping through things and possibly another disciple
I think Destiny 3 will be a reset and it’ll be called Destiny as well Destiny “3” will be set in the same universe but altered from the light and dark saga. I assume that Bungie taking a lot of inspiration from Norse Mythology and that Final Shape is Destiny 2’s Ragnarok I wouldn’t be surprised if they do one of the two endings of Ragnarok. One ending wouldn’t work for obvious reason as everything and everyone is dead but the Ragnarok ending that would be awesome to take elements from would be the rebirth ending. With Destiny “3” being the rebirth of the world of destiny after a cataclysmic war would be fascinating. I can imagine how they can really dive deeper into a narrative that doesn’t have a white (light) black (darkness) but a grey. It would be perfect post final shape as we’ve been leading into that grey space with gaining darkness powers, and now being capable of utilizing dark and light powers simultaneously with prismatic. I don’t want D”3” to get rid of everything in D2 I think it would be smart if Bungie tries to utilize as much content in Destiny 2 and 1 as possible if they would like to release D”3” in a timely manner. The big problem that D2 had launched with is that Destiny 1 had substantially more content then D2. Games like the recent Hitman trilogy by IO Interactive and the Total War Warhammer trilogy by Creative Assembly, both carry over all content into the successive game making the sequel more valuable and prized as the definitive version.
Im not a lore expert, so, why is savathun being alive such a bad thing? Besides petty revenge, we dont exactly seem to have many reasons to even interact anymore

Yeah but we'd also lose stuff like darkness subclasses. I'd love a spinoff like that, full sequel... idk.
Imagine us playing as iron lords
Prequels are so lame. Forwards is always more interesting

So that’s what byf looks like
Bud you're way behind, we've known what byf looks like

No please.... i just got through that PTSD....
Ik D1 kind of milked them but id love to see more hive. Easily my favorite faction and atleast in theory seems like the biggest threat

There are also other disciples potentially floating abour, Nezzy is probably still kicking too.

I would actually like to see other parts of earth, like the manhattan nuclear zone, or the swamps of old Chicago, idk that sounds so interesting to me

Looks like Lingering Will in the thumbnail. Keyblades coming to Destiny confirmed.
Im interested in what the new saga will be about, what could possibly be bigger or different to the light vs dark

How about more Nine exploration
It is probable that they are the “final boss”
I would love to own a ketch
Would be nice for a whole new cast of characters, 1000 years in the future, different galaxy, and different enemies.
Destiny 3 beyond sol system
Savathun is an ally
No she isn’t.

Savathun is always scheming. Never trust her.
Yeah, but what does she have to gain by making an enemy out of us again. I think she'd make a great ally, but I guess stories need villains.
This time is not gonna be free to play 😂
