They did but they didn’t change anything other than colours (no more sandy yellow), livery, remote, wheel colour, a brighter white and a grey colour to replace the yellow
I apologize for spamming your comment section, but we (ok, 95% of that was our 6 year old daughter) got some first experience with the FTX Outback Tracker (RGT Rescuer) with a 2S LiPo. Given the weather it was run on few centimeters of snow on a short gras (it was about -3°C), in forest and on unpaved roads. The car is a BLAST. Already the 1st gear is fast enough for trailing, the 2nd gear really is for bashing on loose surfaces. I have expected the locking diffs to make more difference at higher speeds when trailing, but that will be tested more in the future. Of course being able to lock the diffs is crucial once the terrain gets more demanding. Also - as you shown in details in your videos on this car - the car is not a hard core rock crawler because it is top heavy. But as a trailing rig it is fantastic. The suspension works very well, the tires are really good. It can turn very tight corners (potentially too tight for the mechanics). The speed control is very good - for now I do not intend to upgrade the electronics. Weak point for me are the corners on the body - our car came with 3 corners badly cracked. Replacement body came with one cracked corner. I was able to fix it, but really blade the design - there is very little lexan left under the lights. When mounted these corners are fairly well protected though. The car had no issues in those 2 hours. We got about 1 hour (maybe a little more) runtime out of 5500 mAh 2S LiPo (the Gens ace G-Tech 2200mAh 7.4V 60C was size-wise perfect - longer battery would not fit well) Lessons I personally have learned so far - locking differentials are not really a must (certainly not in the rear). 2 gear transmissions is only really for bashing (which IS fun though!). I am hooked (and even more than before when we got the Mojave 6s for our older daughter) I definitely want one nice 1/10 crawler for myself - it will be even more fun to go crawling with 2 cars.
Very nice! Sorry about the body, that's no good. I didn't have that problem. Maybe a bad batch? Bad packaging? Who knows. I've driven mine heaps and as you say, once fitted, it's pretty protected. The stock electronics are great, yeah. 2 crawlers better than one? Absolutely yes it is. Look at my videos where I'm crawling with others. It's the best 😊
@@RCTNT Yes, the cracked body was indeed the packaging, not the car's fault. But since we have that Mojave 6s I am already well equipped to deal with body repairs, lol. I am now going to take my time to pick 'my' crawler. I am still very much set on the Cross RC XT4 (a nice mix of a scale look and performance), but I don't want to hurry it (and anyhow the bench is now occupied by the LC Racing Truggy (very nice kit indeed!) that our older daughter is slowly building up with my help. But I am 100% positive I want a kit as I enjoy putting these cool toys together.
@matusknives oh nice. Cross rc kits are fun to build. I have an XT4 in the box, waiting to be built. It's very premium feeling, though I've only peeked in the box so far! And isn't the lc racing stuff just super nice! I have an EMB-T and it's just superb.
Something that you really put on highlight, is that tires are a game changer! When I see how the Zull was struggling, and this RGT Pro Runner with good tires is doing quite well. Are you still planning a tires shootout? Thanks again for the nice video.
I’m still running my RGT CJ 86101, or something like that! lol I have replaced axles with a pair of TRX4 portal axles my buddy gave me and I rebuilt. I also installed that heavy looking 2 sp. transfer box from Allie express. Along with a set of Desert lizards, set up for droop, and it’s a climbing machine! But in high gear, it’s a great trail rig. Really like your Rescuer, and if I buy another truck, that will be it. Love the video! Love my RGT
Yes, I believe if I didn’t build it, I must mod it! lol plus, I almost never buy premium brands,(can’t afford it) but would buy something perceived as less capable, like an RGT, at less than half a trx4, and build it over time into an equal or better(I believe) machine. That is where the sense of accomplishment comes. Not from buying something already good and running it.
Just what I’ve been waiting for…an RGT test with the same rigs I have (minus the Rescuer) I probably mentioned in another thread I’ve upgraded my Prorunner with a HW fusion SE , wheels /tires and a better steering servo…..really impressed how those mods helped. Haven’t done anything to the Challenger …..I’ll probably end up putting a fusion SE in that one also…the low modulation is key imo for crawling…..the stock brushed motor set up is too jumping imo….do-able but so much nicer with a brushless set up. Very interesting test for sure!
I have the Pro Runner. Great rig for the price. I took it out with my HB-R1002 (red) 'Beluga' the other day and they both drive great. I think the HB may even have a leg up on the Pro Runner for performance, plus you can get one for under $250 shipped. I actually bought my wife the HB-R1003 (blue) after seeing how nice my red one is. You should buy an HB 'Beluga' and compare it to the Pro Runner. I believe you will be pleasantly pleased with it. Thanks for the video.
Thanks, several folks have suggested this car. I've considered it, but I'm having trouble with it being a clone, while the RGT vehicles are in house designed, bodies aside. At this stage I probably won't look at the Beluga unless they send one to me, but looking at it, I can see why you like it! Happy wheeling 😎
Not sure if it's a relevant criteria, but the explorer has great customisation potential. A good range of hop ups from RGT and a lot of cool aftermarket 76 series details available.
My Rescuer just arrived 3 days ago.!! I'm already in love with it.. It's right up there with my TRX4 & Yikong Jeep.!!! It arrived right in the middle of the biggest snow fall we've had in decades, so I got to maiden it in snow.!! @@RCTNT I'm having fun with it as I type, I've just stopped for a battery swap. The snows thawing really hard & everything's a real muddy mess.. GREAT.!! Just how I like it.. (I have however already killed the ESC switch... Maybe underneath the side board isn't the best place for it, anyway, it was a good reason to fit the HW 1080 to it) 👍 👍 It's a great rig, but it's that much better with the Sense Innovation ESS Dual sound kit in it.. The new RGT-EX86190 Rescuer comes with the interior, magnetic lighting cable, attached body clips & the New DumboRC X8E Transmitter! All in all making it even better value! 😉
@@RCTNT I bought one with the brass portal & diff weights both light bars a Toyota badge & stainless armor Oh & a 6200ma lipo! It was stll $200 cheaper than the cheapest TRX4 😁
@@RCTNT Agreed on that one! I don't have a Jeep yet never been a fan of the Broncos but I may get the new Rlaarlo crawler if the price is right? time will tell...................🤔
Me and my 9yo kid want to get a trailer/crawler for christmas and your videos have been a great help to decide wich one we get. Would you know if the RGT"dumboRc" on these three will bind to and DumboRc receiver? If so my kid would be able to use the same remote for his other rc's just by changing their receivers. At this moment im more inclined to the ChalengerPro mainly because of the FOC (hobbywing) brushless motor, everyone says its an huge upgrade to most crawlers, but still haven't decided.
Challenger Pro will be here for review very soon. Experience tells me it won't make a huge difference to its ability on the rocks, but an FOC-equipped rig is much nicer to drive. I haven't tested exhaustively, but have linked numerous DumboRC receivers to RGT, Rlaarlo and other rebadged DumboRC transmitters, yes. Generally, it works fine. All the best with your decision!
I been looking at getting my first 1/10 crawler and having hard time deciding between, Element Ecto, Knightrunner, Knightwalker, Utron (swap to Knightrunner body) and now the RGT Pro Runner after watching the videos on it. I don’t think I would be doing hardcore crawling to start with, just looking for a good all rounder. Also most likely to also add FPV to it. Personally I not a fan of the Rescuer body, I like more a modern body.
In order of capability, from least to most, I'd expect this: Knightrunner, Utron, Knightwalker, Pro Runner, Ecto. The gap between Utron and Knightwalker will be moderate, and the gap from Pro Runner to Ecto is large. In your shoes, my personal preference for general trail and light crawling use would be Ecto for a bias toward crawling capability, and either Knightwalker or Pro Runner for mainly trail use. I'd probably go with the RGT if I was big on mostly trails with light crawling. Lastly, for FPV use, you want the most capable platform possible (in this group: Ecto), because from my own experience, FPV makes crawling WAY harder! Previously easy trails become considerably more difficult. This is a good thing, but some capability certainly helps! Hope this gives you something useful to work on from here. Good luck with the decision!
Greetings from Mackay North Queensland 👋🏼 just discovered your channel, loving it so far I’m just about to buy a challenger, I really want the Toyota body but the challenger is just a better option for legit rock crawling especially for upgrades, I’ll probably end up buying a Toyota body for the challenger down the track
G'day Matt! Glad you like it. Hey, check out both the Rescuer and the Challenger on my 6-Problem course You're looking for the Rock Test videos for each. This will show you how both crawl in stock form. If that isn't enough, I also have upgraded both and tested them again on the course, for comparison. Indeed, I'm pretty sure I put the links to all these videos in this one's Description, to save folks having to search. See what you think. Cheers!
Took my rescuer out today first run . Very impressive rig so far.. the drag brake is super aggressive in forward tho.. wish i knew how to adjust it. Didn't come with the jumper so 💁
I don't think it is adjustable, unless there's an obvious 100/50/0 jumper or something on the esc itself..? Glad you're enjoying the thing otherwise. Good rig isn't it!
@@RCTNT I'm gonna look and see if the jumper will maybe 50/ the brake.. but YES !! the rig is incredible.. from the lights to the gearing it's honestly very impressive!! Running it beside my TRX and after adding the Holmes motor it seems to be every bit as good.. Thank you again for the content, your review was a major factor in me picking this amazing truck up .
2 quick things, #1. like you I prefer my RC's in a certain body style (Fords vs your Toyotas) #2 what happened to your RGT Pioneer? it used to be your favorite RGT rig. Also, for the money, RGT RC's are some of the best bang for the buck!
1. Yep, nice to have the choice, eh! 2. It's still here. I did quite a few videos with it and we've reached its ideal state per it's last video. Didn't include it here because it's too far apart from the others for a useful comparison. But it's a more capable crawler than these three!
I already have the Rescuer and I love it. Just ordered som brass for it. And I also just ordered the Challenger, so seeing forward to receive it. I have to wait a month for my RGT Rc's to arrive from China. Can't wait to get my hands on it. And take it out on the trails. Can you tell me if the 2 have the same shocks on.? Because the ones on the Rescuer is some of the best shock I have tried.
You'll be sorry to hear the Challenger's shocks aren't the same. Though, they are still alu and oil filled. The springs are two piece with a middle collar, and the shock body is a lighter silver. Oil feels similar. Overall, they're a bit stiffer than the Rescuer shocks and not as plush, but overall they're still quite good. I'd say both are appropriate for the rigs they're on.
Best fit for it are the ones it comes with: 4.19". But if you want better performance, the biggest I'd go with are 4.65", like I said in the video. Bigger than that and you'll have issues with the tires rubbing on the body and impeding movement.
Well, if you check out my tire test series you probably know I'll suggest the Proline Bfgoodrich km3, they're very good. The super swampers aren't bad either, but the BFGs win overall.
I’ve got the RGT challenger and have stripped the portal gears in the LF hub….ive searched Amazon, eBay , Ali express and Aistees.. No luck finding replacement parts…..you have any inside links for these parts?
Oh dear, that's a concern. You know, I'm running the EX86170 rear axle on my 2.2" Sportsman rig that's leaving with me for Nationals in a couple of days. To date, RGT gears have been excellent. I'm sorry yours have broken. I've had a look around but no dice yet. If I can get time to do so, I'll pull a few different RGT portal axles apart so we can see about compatibility. I'm very pressed for time currently, but I'll try to get to it in May when I'm back.
@@RCTNT I very much appreciate your time to reply ….i love the rig am I’ve upgraded to a HW Fusion SE and some better wheels/tires. I got jammed between two large rocks and was making my way out and I heard a “crunch” ..then lost pulling power. Probably my fault with the torquer fusion motor and grippier tires…..I love the rig and the way it performs…bummed it’s hard to find parts for these over seas rigs.
I've yet to have a problem finding parts for RGTs, though to be fair, I haven't really needed many. The thing with brushless and sticky tires is things break if you're not careful - and sometimes, even if you are. The axles all look different. Comparing the EX86190 and EX86170, their portal housings aren't the same (photos here: rc-tnt.com/manufacturer/rgt/which-rgt-trail-rig-is-best-for-you/ ) Hmm. Guess we'll see after a tear down!
hello man first amazing video second i want to ask is the rescuer a capable crawler ? or the challenger and the pro runner are better in performance? thanks you❤️
They all have weaknesses and strengths. Check the description, as I have links to the rock test videos for each of these guys in stock form, and in modded form for some. The idea is you can see for yourself how they vary in crawling capability. The short answer is the Rescuer and Challenger are similarly capable out of the box, but I can't recall which did better. The rock test videos are where to look 👍
I’d love to see a comparison between the Pro Runner and the HB Toys Beluga. It looks decent to be a cheaper option(even if it is basically a clone😂) but some people can’t afford the more expensive stuff.
You and several others have asked. I may do that, though I'm not a fan of clones. Rgt has been developing their own stuff for a while now, Pro Runner body aside. I'd prefer to see companies doing their own thing be rewarded. But I also don't know much about the hb toys rig beyond looking at a store page. Let's say maybe, for now, and I'll think on it some more. Cheers
@@RCTNT seems like most companies now days would rather clone then put in the work and make their own designs. I’ve been a fan of RGT since I first found them. I’m just glad it’s getting easier to buy them here in the states now. It was almost impossible for awhile.
That's great to hear! I've heard often in the comments that getting rgt is hard in the USA. I'm glad things seem to be changing. Out of curiosity, where can you buy them now that you couldn't before? It's a common question so I'd love to have answers for people! Thanks
@@RCTNT I just went through and looked to see where I could buy from. Amazon has the Pro runner($466 usd), Rock Cruiser V2($355), and the Rock Cruiser V3 old Bronco($219) AliExpress has the Pro Runner($340-$400), Rescuer($400), Rock Cruiser V2($200), and the Rock Cruiser V3 Jimny($175) Banggood has pretty much all of them available now. Pro Runner($385), Rescuer($500), Tracer($500) plus probably 10 more. Asiatees has all of them listed, but most are out of stock or shipping is $100+. But they have the most upgrades from what I’ve seen.
Sorry for the slow reply, I missed your message (youtube doesn't make it easy to see new replies to old threads). It may be too late now, but Atees told me they were ready for my Pro Runner series and that they'll hopefully be able to keep stock levels up, and have better shipping to USA (which does seem to have been the case so far). Did you end up choosing a car?
Hope your ok. I was wandering if i could pick your brain, Ive just bought a crawler with locking diffs but rear diff wont engage or disengage. I think the problem is with diff lock outer sleeve of cable as isnt attached to axle. as when i slde outer sleeve to axle, diffs engage and disengage. Ive tried finding info in manual but wasn't very informative as didn't address the issue i tried RUclips but found no info. Any suggestions 🙏
Sounds like you've identified the issue. The cable sleeve needs to be correctly reattached to the diff housing. Look at the front one and compare them. Try to replicate that, or buy the appropriate replacement part. Trx4 uses an E clip to secure the sleeve, for example.
I finally got the Outback Tracker (Rescuer) that our daughter got for Christmas up and running as it arrived with a badly damaged body (got a replacement, but still repaired the first one), so it was not outside yet. But the car is bonkers! Looks great, appear very capable and - if weather allows - I can imagine must be a TON of fun drifting at the higher speed. I hope it will work well for a long time. EDIT: The Outback Tracker came with interior. P.S: I need to change one of the headlight-LEDs as it is dead. Any idea which one I need to get?
That's great! Enjoy! For the LED, check the solder joins. Most likely point of failure. Might just be able to fix that. Otherwise, replace the LED with another of the same size, 5mm or 3mm,whatever it is (likely 5) and consider swapping the one on the other side too, so they both have the same appearance.
Between Rescuer and Pro Runner, whats the difference other than the winch? How about 2wd and 4wd? Does both has it? I'm a first timer wanna get into crawler RC. Almost bought TRX4 till i saw this brand
What mods do you want, exactly? Motor, servo, wheels and tires and common upgrades to do, and they are independent of the car - hooray for standard designs! The axles are all shown up close on that article. Correct, pro runner has straight axles. If you found the article was a bit much text for you, there's a video that covers the comparison, too: Https://ruclips.net/video/jJujfFUtMkE/видео.html Also, I have several videos featuring the pro runner on the channel here 👍
@@RCTNT modification something like suspension, rim and tyre, chassis? can you swap Rescuer axle to pro runner? Or convert pro runner to portal axle? What about the aftermarket sound module, will it be compatible with RGT? And finally, can you take out the winch on the pro runner and put it on the rescuer lol. I'm just a few clicks away from buying my first RC
@AreRiz yes, shocks are pretty universal, as are drive shafts. If you want portal axles, you'll be often swapping the entire axles unless they have a compatible portal part (some do, most don't). Winch, sure, that's swappable. Wheel and tyre, of course, as noted earlier. Sound modules are pretty much universal.
Yes. Though if you do, you'll want to fit a bigger pinion on the motor and even consider a reverse rotation motor. But it should work fine otherwise, yep.
That's a neat little car, I didn't know about the 136161. Same running gear as the 136100V3 RC4 or a different machine, do you know? Certainly looks great! You want to change the body? If so, have you considered an MN crawler instead, they're not too bad either.
@@RCTNT hence why id still try to figure it outr for part of this rc, tbh i had mn 78 cherokee with cheap esc and dumbo rx, running 3s, everything is still from the factory, great bashing rallying 🤣, my rgt now with wpl c74 body, i really need to upgrade bigger wheels and tires to make it more scale 😀
Ah OK, you're on top of things. Sounds pretty good! No hurry on bigger tires, but better rubber would help it perform better too, that's true. Glad you're having fun with them 👍
It's very much a 1/10 scale vehicle. If you're considering this, also look at the Cross RC EMO AT4 and JT4, the TRX4 Defender and Bronco, and the FMS FCX10 K5 Blazer. All similar in terms of overall quality and capability. All great choices. Depending where you are in the world, some of these will be cheaper than others. I have reviews, tests and upgrades for all of these on my channel. Cheers

The V2 have a better Body Paint/Details, leds and already interior. A nice led conector (magnetic) whit the Chassis and the Same Radio of The Challenger/ProRunner. That was the Favorite of Panda Wife but here in E.U. only the V1 arrive now 😪 so the Challenger (my Favorite) wins to be the Family Christmas Gift to the Pandas Family 💪🏻🏆🐼👍🏻
It's such a shame it's such a pain getting RGT into the UK. The price today for the Prorunner, with free shipping is £280 (Aus$580), but then we'll get clobbered with 20% VAT, making it almost £350!! (Aus$700!!!) Just not great value then. 🤷🏻♂️😢
I understand. For what it's worth, with shipping and tax I paid a total of AUD$596 for the Pro Runner. $100 more and it's still not bad value, honestly. Though maybe other brands become more reasonable for that money, you'd know better than me on that point.
@@RCTNT I guess, as with Redcat in the UK, unless we have a UK distributor, you pay your money and take your choice. So many decent cars and trucks from both brands, it's a shame. 👍🏻
i think the terrain with big rock is not suitable to test the pro runner...it mostly on endurance terrain..muddy..hills...gravel...but not big rock..infact 3 of them not suitable for this trial at all...
It doesn't matter that the rocks are too hard for some of the cars. Consistency is all we're after here. I test all crawlers and trail rigs on the same set of obstacles. This way, you get an idea of their relative capability, even if they can only finish one or even zero problems.
Nice. I'm on the verge of buying pro Runner. I even bought a brushless servo and new Dumbo 10ch with LCD on BG, for a cracking price, bought fusion se 1200 on Ali on a century Xmas deal for the car. But I still don't know if I should buy the car, also for a cracking deal with coins and allowance coupon, that I can buy for coins on top. My budget is rather small, multiple other expenses are piling up, mental therapy costing me a lot, things don't look bright. But I do get that the car could help with mental health, thing is I can never be sure it won't end up in a corner unused. New parts, I can still sell with some profit even, but once I use the car a bit, there will probably be loss involved, if I change my mind. And depression is making us making many bad decisions, and then kicking ourselves for it, which then causes paralysis, when it comes to new decisions-my state. 🫤 Nice you've made a comparison.
I feel you. Well, with all the nice upgrade bits you've just bought, going on your local FB marketplace might snag you a decent but tired crawler that you can put all the shiny stuff into. Would be cheaper than a new car and still be great with those nice new bits. Something to consider. Take care of yourself. I know what depression is like and while I can't help you, I can say I'm thinking of you. Hang in there, brother.

Really like your Rescuer, and if I buy another truck, that will be it. Love the video! Love my RGT
Ooh, that's an interesting sounding rig you've got there! Modding is fun, eh!
I get you. That's part of what makes this hobby so fun and satisfying!
RGT Challenger is my favorite so glad to see this review for those thinking about which one. My wife has the cruiser v2 and it's a great crawler too.
Haven't seen much on the rock hammer do you have one of those. I love your channel 🤩
I'm not familiar with that one, sorry
@@RCTNT no worries if you haven't it's another cool RGT love your vids keep em coming
I'll look into it, thanks
Just what I’ve been waiting for…an RGT test with the same rigs I have (minus the Rescuer) I probably mentioned in another thread I’ve upgraded my Prorunner with a HW fusion SE , wheels /tires and a better steering servo…..really impressed how those mods helped.
Haven’t done anything to the Challenger …..I’ll probably end up putting a fusion SE in that one also…the low modulation is key imo for crawling…..the stock brushed motor set up is too jumping imo….do-able but so much nicer with a brushless set up.
Very interesting test for sure!
Thanks, they're great rigs aren't they
Looks like they just released the "pathfinder" with a whopping 355mm wheelbase!!! Perhaps on the same scale as the Rescuer...
Looks to be the same as the EX86190, yes. Different body, wheels and tires, but same underneath.
You mean the Rescuer? Yes, I've seen just how much there is on Ali for it, and if you're into the body like I am, they're pretty good!

Maybe underneath the side board isn't the best place for it, anyway, it was a good reason to fit the HW 1080 to it) 👍 👍
It's a great rig, but it's that much better with the Sense Innovation ESS Dual sound kit in it.. "Short course truck C".!! My go to V8.!!

Heya bud happy new year would love to see your thoughts on the tracer. Been thinking about getting one. Just love 4ws
Coming soon 😎

Ive been seriously looking at these great video as always mate 👍
Thanks! Glad it was helpful 🙏
The new RGT-EX86190 Rescuer comes with the interior, magnetic lighting cable, attached body clips & the New DumboRC X8E Transmitter! All in all making it even better value! 😉
So people have been saying! A very good improvement indeed 😁
@@RCTNT I bought one with the brass portal & diff weights both light bars a Toyota badge & stainless armor Oh & a 6200ma lipo! It was stll $200 cheaper than the cheapest TRX4 😁
And it looks better, subjectively. Not a Ford or a Jeep makes for a nice change!
@@RCTNT Agreed on that one! I don't have a Jeep yet never been a fan of the Broncos but I may get the new Rlaarlo crawler if the price is right? time will tell...................🤔
Do you mean the omni terminator? I'm pretty sure that isn't a crawler, though I haven't looked at closely yet.
Thank you for your review🙏
Got my pro runner today ..hope I get a shout out on your next video.. Keep making excellent content sir🙏
@bernardtroopswmc9508 nice one, enjoy it!
Hey, check out both the Rescuer and the Challenger on my 6-Problem course
You're looking for the Rock Test videos for each. This will show you how both crawl in stock form. If that isn't enough, I also have upgraded both and tested them again on the course, for comparison.
Indeed, I'm pretty sure I put the links to all these videos in this one's Description, to save folks having to search. See what you think. Cheers!
All your videos are great, love watching them. Would you recommend element ecto as first crawler? Thank you
Yes! Great crawler. Thanks 🙏
@MatthewGuynn-ki8rn so glad it was helpful. Thanks again for letting me know, I love hearing stuff like this :)
Love it! Do you plan on getting more rgts?
I have 7 here but there are still more to test, so, yes!
Awesome course! 👍👍
Thank you! 👍
Great comparison
🙏🙏
I hope you get a chance to look at the rgt ex86180pro
It's been purchased already, just awaiting delivery 🙂
@@RCTNT Awesome! Thanks for keeping us informed 😁
Did I not see a winch slot on the front bumper of the Challenger ?
How about running the cable through the chassis with a roll over....
Sure, you could do that, yep. The slot is called a fairlead, btw.
What wheels and tires size best fit for RGT pro runner sir
Best fit for it are the ones it comes with: 4.19".
But if you want better performance, the biggest I'd go with are 4.65", like I said in the video. Bigger than that and you'll have issues with the tires rubbing on the body and impeding movement.
@@RCTNT what tires do you recommend using? Im from Philippines been watching your vids lately
Super swamper or the bf goodrich for trail run mixed
Comparing the EX86190 and EX86170, their portal housings aren't the same (photos here:
rc-tnt.com/manufacturer/rgt/which-rgt-trail-rig-is-best-for-you/ )
Hmm.
@@RCTNTokay man thanks a lot for your help
Holden bodies even more beautiful 😂
Haha fair enough! I grew up with Holdens and Landcruisers. The brainwashing started young, lol
Amazon has the Pro runner($466 usd), Rock Cruiser V2($355), and the Rock Cruiser V3 old Bronco($219)
AliExpress has the Pro Runner($340-$400), Rescuer($400), Rock Cruiser V2($200), and the Rock Cruiser V3 Jimny($175)
Banggood has pretty much all of them available now.
@@RCTNT thankyou so much for taking the time to reply I'll try this hopefully this will resolve issue 👍
@@RCTNT thank you, much appreciated!
Ex86170
Between Rescuer and Pro Runner, whats the difference other than the winch? How about 2wd and 4wd? Does both has it? I'm a first timer wanna get into crawler RC. Almost bought TRX4 till i saw this brand
I've got just the article for you!
rc-tnt.com/manufacturer/rgt/which-rgt-trail-rig-is-best-for-you/
@@RCTNTi might get a pro runner, but how many mods are available for it? Pro runner doesn't come with a portal axle right?
What mods do you want, exactly? Motor, servo, wheels and tires and common upgrades to do, and they are independent of the car - hooray for standard designs!
The axles are all shown up close on that article. Correct, pro runner has straight axles.
If you found the article was a bit much text for you, there's a video that covers the comparison, too:
Also, I have several videos featuring the pro runner on the channel here 👍
@@RCTNT modification something like suspension, rim and tyre, chassis? can you swap Rescuer axle to pro runner? Or convert pro runner to portal axle? What about the aftermarket sound module, will it be compatible with RGT? And finally, can you take out the winch on the pro runner and put it on the rescuer lol. I'm just a few clicks away from buying my first RC
@AreRiz yes, shocks are pretty universal, as are drive shafts. If you want portal axles, you'll be often swapping the entire axles unless they have a compatible portal part (some do, most don't). Winch, sure, that's swappable. Wheel and tyre, of course, as noted earlier.
Sound modules are pretty much universal.
My rescuer after installing HW 1800KV se is unstoppable..
That's a good choice for the Rescuer. Glad you're having such fun with it!
@@RCTNT yeah.. made buying decision upon yours and some others reviews..
Thank 4 making this channel awesome👌.
Cheers from Europe
Oh cool, glad it was helpful 😊
hii..... i want to ask u something. Can this RGT be replaced with a portal axle?
Yes. Though if you do, you'll want to fit a bigger pinion on the motor and even consider a reverse rotation motor. But it should work fine otherwise, yep.
wow okei thanks for the information
I much prefer servo on axle, wish more companies would do this
I also like how rgt does it in particular on these two. It's kinda stealth. Works great too
Anndddd the only i could afford is rgt 136161. And i don't know what part could put on that rig, other than hard body from mn or wpl 😭
Glad you're having fun with them 👍
don't you think the rescuer is like 1/8 or so ? qiuck answer i wanted buy one of this as my 1st 10th scale what would you recommend ?
many thanks sir.
Cheers
@@RCTNT thanks will look up to those you mention.

Thanx for a nother smashing Video ❤
@roblowrie1969 ha! Yes, redcat is slooooow to get to Australia as well!
Nice 👍🏾
🙏
i think the terrain with big rock is not suitable to test the pro runner...it mostly on endurance terrain..muddy..hills...gravel...but not big rock..infact 3 of them not suitable for this trial at all...
It doesn't matter that the rocks are too hard for some of the cars. Consistency is all we're after here. I test all crawlers and trail rigs on the same set of obstacles. This way, you get an idea of their relative capability, even if they can only finish one or even zero problems.
"Chirax" ha ha ha. Nice :)
Gotta call a duck a duck
not sure test
What do you mean?
🫤
Nice you've made a comparison.
