I just rescued a 2 year old plott hound. She is a great dog. She will run all day, but is a great lap dog, while watching the tv. These dogs love to fetch and play tug of war. Oh Yeah, the obvious, they go bonker for squirrels and small prey. My neighbor's cat always causes a stir too.
He must be big since this video. I remember bringing home our plott hound/sharpei mix years ago and he looked very similar to your pup., but with smaller ears and more wrinkles. God Bless You!
my plot hound mixed with german shepherd died a month ago and i’m still crying and the rest of my family all ready wants and is going to buy a new puppy we’re getting it next month but your pup reminds me so much of her she passed in a freak accident at 5 months old
oh my god that car is huge australian ones have like enough room to fit your feet and move around and then there are the front seats copper is adorable i remember introducing buddy to the guinea pigs and he was scared of them
same dog, just be careful as everyone knows about too much play right after eating. they will roll off their back instantly onto their legs if in play mode which could be a risk to their stomach. otherwise, good breed but with all pure-breds you have to watch for health issues more than mutts. mine has cost me lot of money at the vet!
@@donnamegee6042 update, most of the vet charges were from misdiagnosis. medication was prescribed in error. heart worm medication was the root cause of the issues discovered years later. most money was wasted. Plott at 14 off medication has more energy than Plott at 8 on medication. Strong breed in senior years.
I have a male plott named Commander Cletus. He is a good old boy and likes to run for miles. If he doesnt get to chase at least one rabbit per day he starts to go insane.

Plastic bottles do NOT make good toys!!😱 A puppies sharp pointy teeth will rip it apart easily and tiny shards of the bottles thin plastic might be ingested. Just be careful with that stuff and buy toys that are safe. He's cute!!💖💖💖

My cur hound is stubborn too, hounds are intelligent making them stubborn and think for themselves they just need alot of reinforcement

We have a brindle, he is 8 years old, and such a joy, he is an indoor house broken dog, sleeps in beds. So smart......
