    What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for RUclips, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

    This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

    A few tips and tricks I managed to come up with, to (hopefully) make the game a liiitle bit easier:
    1. Use single shelving units instead of double ones. (unless you want to place more than 4 shelves of a specific product) Yes, single ones use more space and are overall more expensive, but you can fill entire shelving unit with a single product and then, when you want to change/relocate goods at your store, just move the entire shelving units, no need for all the taking stuff from one shelf and placing it on another. (same goes for fridges)
    2. Customers pick up stuff at random (without visible limit). The more shelves of a product you have in your store, the higher the chance it will be bought. Additional shelves of said product increase the chance of customers buying multiple. So if you have a product with high profit rate, just place more shelves/fridges with it and customers will buy more of it, creating a larger profit. (for example, if you have 20 shelves of the same coffee, there's a chance a customer will buy up to 20 packs of this coffee)
    3. Each time you do even a minor change in shop layout save and re-load the game. It takes only a few seconds, but it prevents re-stockers from glitching and getting locked in front of shelves/racks.

    I have to fire my stockers all the time. I hope that pausing them is something the developers have seen players complaining about causes them to put that at the top of the update list. I did end up starting over and have actually enjoyed the grind again.

    The lady standing on the checkout is actually a glitch I experience everytime I play the game. You get a free checkout everytime it glitches, so when it happens - box up the checkout and there will be a brand new just standing there like you never boxed the previous one up and just store it somewhere for future use.. I have a few just laying around LOL

    I put the new mini fridges at the end of my cash registers and filled with soda. Kind of like they have at the irl markets

    For pricing info for chat. I took everything in my store to where it was "too expensive" for almost everyone. Had 3 satisfied customers and over a 100 too expensive red marks at level 18. Made 300 less than the day before, but it was still only about 300 less. Think it dropped from almost 1800 day before, to just over 1500 that day. To me that means, err on the side of expensive, and slowly dial it back down. Definitely not the 8 percent rule I don't think, pretty sure it varies a heck of a lot more than we think. Not saying that it's bad, but certainly doesn't maximize profit. I mean it's fine, but I had Peanut butter at like 2 dollars over 'market' and only had 5 too expensives and still sold a full shelf. That was what made me try the way jacked full store. However I did see some -1 store level points when people left without items, so it definitely CAN hurt, but doesn't seem to unless you have a LOT of too expensive. Even with everything being too pricey, still ended up making over 1/3rd a level at 18.

    I think it is boring to buy just those items and put them on your shelves. I want to have a fully functional store, but that is me. To each there own, I say. And I also think that if the developer doesn't put in the game things we want, then that is okay. And people shouldn't get angry about it. Cause at the end of the day it is what he wants to add to his game, ya know.
    Also, not to offend anyone but this is just my thoughts on modding. I HATE IT, Cause that person if they do earn money from making mods. Is cashing in and nearly making a game, half there's when they don't have the right. Unless the Mods , dev team, says they allow Mods. Then go for it, but for games that don't mention that they give rights then it is just wrong. Again this is my thoughts and feelings on this. If you are a Modder, no hate or shade thrown at you. But it just feels wrong.

    • @wholesomewisher793
      @wholesomewisher793 2 месяца назад +4

      I also strongly disagree with modding, it just takes the fun away. I like to play the game as it is intended and wait patiently for a new update and actually be excited for the changes being made and not just be straight up bored with the game because I modded every single thing that made the game easy to manage without breaking a sweat. Also because I respect the devs and know how hard it is to manage a game and make everyone happy (mission ipossible though).

    • @TotallyxxKiller
      @TotallyxxKiller 2 месяца назад +3

      @@wholesomewisher793 Exactly, I completely support and respect the dev. Yeah it took him two months to get this last update out. But, ya know, coding a game is not that easy. Plus, most triple A games take that long to update, if not longer. I love this game and I appreciate the work the dev has made.

      To be fair, the modders aren’t making money off the mods. For me, the only mods that I see as acceptable are quality of life mods. I have 1 save with quality of life mods, and one that is basic. The only quality of life mods I use, which don’t make me earn more money or XP, is insta pay, and the faster stocking where I can pick up a box and hit L, and it automatically goes to the shelf. They don’t make the game easier. They make it less time consuming. Games like this will die if the dev strictly focuses on what HE/SHE wants. If they wanted a game for themselves, they shouldn’t be selling it to people and should keep it private

      1.) The point it is that it is his store. Strategically, sometimes it is better to hold off buying too many licenses as it can throw you into a financial pickle if you're not prepared for it.
      2.) It is true that it is his game and he's gonna do what he thinks is best for it. However, if he were to start blatantly ignoring community feedback, it's going to kill off the game's community quick, and he will lose any funding he had from sales. So in a way, you've gotta listen to your community to some extent (unless your EA and/or Ubisoft with more money than shits to give.)
      3.) The developer himself has encouraged the use of mods by recommending Nexus Mods to the community. So saying that modding the game is wrong is objectively wrong by the developer's own admission. He's even taken ideas from certain mods for use in the game. Heck, I think he should try to incorporate the modding community more directly into the development of the game. It'd take some of the pressure off him. If you wanna play the game pure vanilla than that's your choice, but don't shame modding. Modding is often the only reason certain games have a community.
