i'm not a fan of hubmotors, but this thing would be illegal to use in germany anyway😅 only 25km/h/15,5mph is allowed and only if you are pedaling. a thumbgas is allowed up to 6kmh/3,7mph so yeah not very usefull😂
As usual you deliver a great review. I bought a Himiway Cruiser bike about a year ago (very similar predecessor to the bike you reviewed) and I really love it. I am 6' and about 230 lbs and wanted a bike that I felt fit me. My bike is also about 80 lbs and while cumbersome to load and unload from my truck, it's well worth the effort. I'm able to ride bikes with my kids and never thought I would do that again. I'm a believer in this brand and it's a bargain in the class. Thanks for another great review.
Hello, thank-you for a very good review! This bike seems amazing! Do you think it is possible to switch the throttle to the right side? Thanks again for your very good reviews, you did a great job explaining all the features!
Does it regenerate electricity in downhill to put power back to the battery or not? A good review. It made me think about buying one for short grocery trips
Lovely bike but I'm a little confused about pricing, you say the price in the US is $1699.00 (£1298.00) but here in the UK its $2619.00 (£1999.00) for the same spec bike (and thats with a discount!). Anyone know where these bikes are built? I'm assuming they are built in the USA, in which case that would probably account for the cost of shipping?
@HelloRoad only thing I don’t like about most E-bikes are they have big fat tires but the front forks they use aren’t any better for the extra weight, My friend had one and the forks snapped at the head point If your battery goes dead you have a long heavy ride home
The front fork here seems a bit stronger than the one I have on my non-electric mountain bike, but I agree-fat-tire e-bikes add a lot of weight to the equation, especially if you've got a longer range battery! My mountain bike weighs about 30 pounds, most fat-tire e-bikes in this style are around 80.
Just got mine, can't, for the life of me, figure out how to turn the headlight on. tried every long-press, double-click, triple-click thing I could think of...nuthin.
You didn't pedal up to the top of that hill. It's like I saying " I can't believe I rode my moped to the top of this hill". You shouldn't be feeling any gratification.
I live in a metropolis of 10 million people with tons of inattentive drivers and poorly maintained riding surfaces. I know two people that broke jaws/teeth during crashes. I'd rather look lame and protect my jaw than have a broken face, which would look more lame
@@HelloRoad sorry about the criticism you have a good point. This is also coming from someone who almost t-boned a ford explorer who ran a red light. Literally missed him by 1 inch and I was going 20mph on my e-bike.
@@mumwifeteacher I don't know how much a full face helmet would help if getting hit by a Ford Explorer. 😥 But e-bike injuries often look more like motorcycle injuries than bike injuries. So I figured I needed to step up the helmet at least a little bit. And sure I probably don't need to wear it on this river bike path but my ride to that path is not exactly safe.
What do you think-would a fat tire e-bike like this be useful for you?
Yes. I want to be able to drive in the mud, dirt, and snow. I also don't want to get tired in such boggy terrain.

Thanks!! This one in particular does not have any sort of regen feature

Excellent review…

does your kid know how to bike? Maybe a family bike adventure would be cool.
Yep she does! Sounds like a good idea :)

Maybe check to see if the headlight cable is disconnected?
I would have bought this but USA price 1699.00 that's equivalent to 1321.49 UK I would pay that buy for UK price is £2.000 I'm not getting mugged off
oh its not the pro
hub drives I got
I'm really surprised you don't own a Pontiac fiero!
I've been looking for one!!
@@HelloRoad get an 88 . And if you can find one that has a 3800 supercharged swap you won't be disappointed.

I literally did pedal up that hill
@@HelloRoad I resend my comments. Kudos to you. My apologies 👍
I have the funniest channel name ever.
Ditch the full face helmet that’s not a motocross dirt bike.
Mega lame
