  • Can I make a birthday blanket in just 24 hours? Join me on this whirlwind crochet adventure!
I set out to make a blanket for my stepdaughter's birthday, balancing my everyday work and homeschooling my son. Initially, I had a grand design in mind, but halfway through, I had to scrap it and start from scratch with only 24 hours left! Watch as I race against the clock to create a cozy blanket and matching wine glass lanyards for my stepdaughter and sister-in-law.
And that's not all! I also have a special top to finish for myself to wear on this special day. With line dancing lessons, live music at a nearby winery, and endless creativity, will I manage to pull it all together in time?
As always, thank you so much for watching!
    Xoxo,
    Christine

Love your phrase “yarn barf”.😊 To many skeins to count that I had that happened to me and the endless hours spent to untangle the yarn.

OMG girl, you’ve been busy! I loved all your projects. They are adorable. LOL, I’ve never seen a wine lanyard. What a neat idea. Love the blanket. The tassels were the perfect addition.

@@SpottedHorseDesign i’m making my second cocoon sweater from your pattern. The first one I made I used it was acrylic yarn shoot I can’t remember what brand but it was too stiff and it didn’t. It didn’t come out right. This time I’m using heartland which I love it so so nice and soft and it’s got stretch pretty

Modern designers use both fringe and tassels. Look at Alexi’s Two of Wand patterns. Personally I love fringe.

Love the sunflower blanket. What program did you use ro make the design? And congrats on finishing your Step Daughters blanket. I want to visit the Finger Lakes for a wine tour/fest. It is so pretty there.
