And yet we still don't have an Oscar category for Best Stunt/Stuntperson. Seriously a shame stunt-workers aren't recognized for their work as much as they should be.
Years back I got to see on tv the Taurus World Stunt Awards show, which was awesome, they did awesome stunts live during the awards show, and awarded a lot of different categories of stunts. Evidently they still do the awards, but I’ve never seen anything about it since. Evidently they do awards every year, but it’s not a big public deal like the oscars. It’s a shame the stunt actors don’t get more credit.
Anton!! This video was really good! The editing, the flow of the video, and Ofcourse the content and stunts were on a whole other level! Aside from the videos where you and your friends are just having fun doing games and challenges (which are my favorite videos) this is easily one of your best! Thank you!
I don't comment often but the quality of your videos got significantly better! When you upload a new video and is showed on my front page I immediately click it. Thanks for everything you do 👊✌️
Anton! I actually think it would be a super cool idea for you to create a podcast where you discuss with professionals from different spheres of fitness! I would totally watch it
Mark Dacascos role in Only The Strong is what made me want to train capoeira (which eventually became a major part of my life). He was also awesome in Brotherhood of the Wolf
Used to watch Only The Strong over and over. I ended up with karate for myself though but very influenced by that movie. And nowadays Anton is one one of my heroes 💪 keep up the good work
That's amazing that you met Marc, his early action movies were some of the reasons I got into and trained martial arts. On video topic, I enjoy these segues into the other topics you enjoy and your work ethic is insane (I would struggle to do all you achieve in a day, so respect for that!)
I work in the film production business. I have nothing but respect for everyone and of course people like Jessie - or of course, I wouldn’t be in the business!! But, I sooo much appreciate the work you are doing showing what it would really take to do the action that, although inspiring, can often be fantasy. It’s an interesting double edged sword. You do you baby!! I think your content is as entertaining and informative as any movie or documentary. Perfect blend of each!!
I loved this video! As someone who has been working in the movie industry doing different things for about 5 years now! I am training and networking as much as possible to get work in the stunt side of the industry!! It’s a very hard industry to break into but I can’t wait and I’ll get there one day!! Love the videos and keep it up!!
That's why you should just create your own short action movie with other stuntmen. We don't care about the part where the actor is crying, we want to see the action!!! It's feasible 😉
Hey Anton, I would remove the password sequence at the start of Jessie's conversation entirely as I can still read what you type in with the blur on (or replace it with a larger black bar). Great video as always though ❤
For me Mark D impressed me in brotherhood of the wolf. Probably my first movie with him in it unless I didn't recognize him in something else. Although never saw it in English only in french ^_^
I feel like if Hollywood just made cooler movie's being a stunt man would actually be what people imagine it to be, there's not nearly enough john wick's or jackie chan style films with crazy stunts and long creative elaborate fight scenes anymore, it feels like i always gotta look back at what was made in the past, rather then whats being made today when i wanna find stuff like that these days, and when i do find something cool thats new it seems short lived or like a one of a kind type deal
You should probably change your code. Even though the numbers were blurred, I can say with 90% confidence I know your code. Not that any one of us could use it but there are some crazy people out there.
It’s a weird universe Hollywood. They live in a completely different “reality “ than the rest of us. I know a few of the current top stunts performers, and would never want to change places with them. He hours, lack of “humanity” and expectations are insane. The money are good though. I mean can be insanely good. This one guy lives it, trains all day long, stretches etc never sits still. It’s commitment...
Anton nice video. Be careful when showing electronic locks like that. I could tell what the password was by tracking the movement of your thumb. Dunno if it is important to you, just guessed that it is bc you blurred it.
This was also funny, long days deconstruction worker long nights for stuntman. Nice chat with Jessie she's awesome at stunts and ninja warrior. Respect Mark Dacascos.😀
@@stefanforrer2573 Considering "Double dragon" exists ? Hey i didn't say worst it's just all went downhill after 1997 for him. He isn't even main character in brotherhood so for me it was huge disapointment.
