    The Samsung Q95T / Q90T, is the QLED 4K 2020 flagship of the korean company. Depending on the country, Samsung sells a versión with the One Connect box (Q95T) or without it (Q90T).
    These models stand out for having a Full Array Local Dimming backlight with 120 zones, that produces deep blacks and a high peak brightness and the 'Ultra Viewing Angle' and Anti-Glare filters.
    In this review, we'll see all their features and their perfomance in gaming, sound, etc.

    Good review..but it would be helpful to understand if the upscaling performance of standard 720p signals from cable television is done well in this model?

    I'm pretty sure this tv supports dolby atmos if you have an atmos enabled soundbar attached, including the tvs streaming apps. I have last years Q85r and I get Atmos via Arc, but only the lossy atmos as no EARC update on last year's models.

    I purchased this TV 3 months ago, a little disappointed with the blooming in movie cinematic black bars which lights up and glows. There's also an issue with 4K, HDR @160Hz with VRR not displaying properly and flickering on my TV but have heard mixed results on AV forums about this issue. I really hope Samsung fixes these issues with a firmware update in the future.

    I’ve had the 90T for a month now. Overall good TV. Definitely some blooming. Had to spend a lot of time getting the best settings. The remote sucks. No buttons to go directly to settings or source so you have to click a lot where one button would make it so much quicker!! Tizen sucks. I keep adding apps to the Home Screen and they mysteriously disappear and I have to go find them and add them again! Also you have to scroll all the way right and left to get to apps. Google assistant doesn’t even open all apps and isn’t that useful. Keeps saying doesn’t support that or to set it up even though I already set it up. The TV isn’t all that bright. To me it’s just ok. If Oled is not as bright then I’m glad I didn’t get that! Luckily my set has very minimal DSE, but it’s there. Ambient mode is the most useless feature I’ve ever seen. Just a static image that doesn’t change. I thought it was supposed to be artwork that changes, but no! Just put on a RUclips video of artwork is way better. It does look better than my girlfriends TCL. Overall it’s a good TV but too expensive. I got a good deal on it, else I would suggest saving money and get the Hisense H9G, Sony 900h, 950h or even a Vizio P series.

      Hi Tony,
      Well, your TV is really good, but of course this Q90T is much better. You'll notice a big difference specially in the viewing angles and reflections on the screen, but also the Q90T can achieve a higher contrast and better sound.
      And if you're planning to use it for gaming, it comes with the last features like HDMI 2.1, FreeSync. ALLM, etc.

    Nice review. I'm using Q80T. Which is also having some motion blur, I thought of exchange with Q95T. But u said this also has that issues. Pls let me know which TV is best without motion blur. Not OLED.

    • @TVHiFiProinEnglish
      @TVHiFiProinEnglish  3 года назад

      Hi,
      Exactly, with the Q95T you'll have the same problem with motion. If you are looking for a TV that stands out in this area, I recommend that you buy a Sony XH95 /X95H or XH90 / X90H. Sony always have better picture processors and this models have the function X-Motion Clarity that gives much more clarity in fast scenes.

    Do you know how many dimming zones is 65 inch has? I read the 55-in has 96 (not sure how that math works) and one website says that the 65-inch has 120 dimming zones.
    You also mentioned I can get a sound bar and still use the onboard speakers for the in-screen soundtracking technology? That's exciting to me because I thought a sound bar would turn that off?

    • @TVHiFiProinEnglish
      @TVHiFiProinEnglish  3 года назад

      In 65 inches it has 120 zones. With a Samsung soundbar like the HW-Q800T or HW-Q950T you can use the TV speakers in combination with the soundbar.

    How to save SDR settings and HDR settings as separate?

    • @TVHiFiProinEnglish
      @TVHiFiProinEnglish  3 года назад

      The settings are saved as long as the picture mode is the same in both. If you select for example dynamic mode in SDR and later you select Movie in HDR, the TV will choose Movie in mode in HDR and in SDR as well, so you'll have to switch to Dynamic Mode again when you watch something in SDR. In any case the custom settings are saved.

    • @TVHiFiProinEnglish
      @TVHiFiProinEnglish  3 года назад +3

      Hi G Breidel,
      According to Samsung and many other sources for example: www.reviewed.com/televisions/content/samsung-q90t-qled-tv-review, the only full HDMI 2.1 port is number 4. HDMI 3 is compatible with eARC. So in order to enjoy 4K 120 Hz, VRR and ALLM the only port that supports that, is number 4.
      You can also see this in Samsung's official website:
      image-us.samsung.com/SamsungUS/samsung/us/tvs/spec/Q90T_Spec_Sheet.pdf

      @@TVHiFiProinEnglish i know the info on the internet tells us 1 hdmi 2.1 port. Samsung contacted the shop where i got my 95t and told them it had 4 hdmi 2.1 ports. The reason the site tells us 1 port is cause they had some doubts about compatibility etc. Thats why i am asking people to check for themself instead of looking up info on the internet. I checked with my xbox series x. I can see in the video settings my 95t has multiple hdmi 2.1 ports cause the option 4k@120 is checked green.

    I own this exact model. I did not get the silver remote. and this TV is a BIG drop from last year Q90R.
    placing an 8-bit panel on this TV is a big mistake by Samsung. this TV which supposes to support HDR 10 plus. should have a 10-bit panel. not 8 bit (it's good tv. and I don't think the price was justified ) Samsung may lose a lot of customers in 2021. by renaming their TVs. by deceiving the public.

    The biggest drawbacks of Samsung TV are -
    1. No Dolby Vision
    2. No DTS X sound support
    3. No DTS X Pass-through
    4. Expensive than OLED in India
    5. Remote doesn't even contain picture or sound Mode
