Yeah that works pretty well but I have had the cables wear out and fail quickly because of the cable bends. The wireless is very convenient and connects quickly, but losing public wifi use ability while connected to CarPlay is annoying for me personally.
Great idea, but it doesn’t work correctly : it does work from time to time but often you get black screens, etc. Better taking 5 seconds to attach a cable
Is there a way to get rid of the startup screen? For some reason it bothers me to see that screen while it’s connecting. I heard it was able to be hidden.
So really this is a product that does not work. i bought one. so...it's not a seamless start. you have to wait and wait for your car to find the phone. slower than hooking up a cable. Oh, and if you want to return their defective product then YOU pay the shipping to China (ya, really) and YOU pay $25 as a restocking fee. There is a reason these 'fine' folks don't sell through Amazon. it would be a dream if this product worked. But it doesn't. You'll just have to wait until the car manufacturers find a way to get lowband bluetooth to work as a connection.
Definitely getting one for my 2018 Golf R 7.5!
My compromise has been using a small cable and ticking everything in that cubby

Do you find that it reboots on its own? Mine keeps rebooting several times and it’s getting annoying
Received mine today, my car (mk7.5 gti) does not recognize the dongle :(
Can’t wait to try this with my 2021 forester and iPhone 13. Forester had no good phone placement options.
I would like to know what you have to hide the air bag light? thank you
It came and super easy to install/connect

Turn on Background mode in settings, you will never see it again :-)
If my car has Wi-Fi can I connect via wireless or is just via LtE?!
It would have to be LTE because you are using the phone’s WiFi for the CarPlay connection. Can’t be on both networks same time.
Is there a delay when changing tracks?
It seems that there is a slight delay when you paused the music
Very slight, I was trying to check maps lag more and it seemed fine.
@@netcruzer Set delay to 500 in settings, much better and still stable.
Works this one also to golf7 2016?
Yes as long as your 2016 Golf has wired carplay this will work. Check for newer versions of this device, this tech has been changing often.
Just ordered it!!!!
Ordered!!! Only complaint so far …paid extra for 2-3 day delivery and it’s still not here…boo!!
Can you watch RUclips and Netflix
cool adapter and review
Yeah nice but no android auto???????
I am not aware of any dual mode wireless adapters for carplay / android auto.

Agreed it’s not as seamless as a cable IMO. Has some delay. Also cannot use wifi while connected.
