If it cant hang with the Iron Sheik, Jake the Snake Roberts, The Four Horsemen or The Road Warriors--- then it didnt deserve to be on here....

Iron Sheik was a quite underrated promo guy back in the day. Even with his broken English, you can tell the guy didn't miss a beat.

Luis Rodriguez I thought the same thing. We could care less about the promo or what was being said. It was more like, "hey, cool it's the Sheik and Volkoff", or "hey cool it's Macho Man". Years later re-watching these and I'm like, wtf how did I miss the dialogue?

I will say though, that I if you look back at 2009 Miz, right when he was starting to use I'm awesome. If you look back there, it plainly obvious that he spent time studying tapes of Iron Sheik.
Crowd control, Pacing, Emphasis, Sheik set the bar for all of these.
It's like broken matt hardy. You can't take it seriously... but... he never let's up. this goes beyond kayfabe. It's as if he truly believes that everyone is a jabroni jew that needs to be made hum-bel.
It was a different time...then80's,cocaine, the fashion,no pc,iphones...mo instant gratification...it was awesome,
