    The blade is attached with shaft by screw and then extra strength is provided by high strength epoxy adhesive . so don't worry blade will never escaped. It is safe.

      You could also make some shallow cuts on the saw or rasp it up a bit so it can cut and grind.

    Considering my last dremel cost $40 with an 80 piece bit set I can't believe I spent the time to watch that. Would like to know what the playdough stuff is like -- THAT part is impressive and I wish it were around when I was a kid.

    There's a few things I'd do differently than this, but, I respect what you're doing, which is showing you can make tools from nearly anything, very respectable!
    I would really, really like to implore you in future builds to add a switch to the circuit instead of just wiring the power direct like that?

    Hey. great work. i'd recommend two things. Search ebay for some cheap Rotary Tool Chuck and Rotary Tool Cutting discs. now mount the chuck somehow. this will improve safety a lot for less than $15 which granted doubles the cost (or close) but it is still manageable. you can also salvage the chuck from a dead drill.

    Ingenious, but one of my concerns would be the fact that you enclosed the motor and in effect cut off any cooling air circulation. When I'm working a model or polishing, I'm running my Dremel for prolonged periods of time. You can feel the heated air escaping from the cooling ports .Other than that, pretty neat.

      +малик магомедов он лезвие крепится с помощью вала с помощью винта , а затем дополнительная прочность обеспечивается высокая прочность эпоксидным клеем . так что не волнуйтесь лезвие никогда не убежали. Это безопасно.

    • @atomix9681
      @atomix9681 8 лет назад

      +Junkyard - Origin of Creativity вы эпоксидный клей в глаза видели? Хорошо если он там хотябы "холодную сварку" использовал, а не пластилин. Да и паяльник надо использовать по назначению. Дизлайк видео за слово "мощный" в названии.

  • @Parkour_Vector390
    @Parkour_Vector390 8 лет назад

    Well, those instrument could be made safer if you put something like slightly bigger half-round, 2 sided element which is fixed to the body of the machine, this could improve the safety, just like bigger ones. I still prefer hacksaw because it's way more safe to use and it can cut the same things like this tool with the advantage of being able to cut deeper and it's more silent :). Still good guide.
