Hi Tim, thanks for your comment. Just so you know, our documentary also features permaculture. According to the FAO the term "agroforestry" has been coined in the late seventies already... it's simply something different than permaculture and has a more academic usage Also, I think it's important to reckon that the management of productive trees, shrubs, (annual) crops and livestock in a whole system (which academia would be referring to as one very complex way of doing "agroforestry") has been practiced for millennia by early human farmers and foragers, so it precedes Bill Mollison and David Holmgren by ages...
@@MilpaFilms Thanks for the reply. I completely agree. I just wanted to mention it because if people are interested and want more information they should also look into permaculture in my opinion. Agroforestry is something different but there is quite a large benefit to look also in permaculture.
