Scurvy Crew. This boss takes crab rave to another level 2. Mole Miner Max & Mole Train. Really fun boss, plus a cool theme 1. Colonel Pluck. I-it's a chicken. Driving a mech. With no arms. That squashes bananas. To make tikis. In a factory. H-how can you not like this guy? And his theme is epic. We apologize if our opinions offended someone.
At first I was appalled that Colonel Pluck was ranked worst, but I quickly realized that the reason I had fun with him is his boss music. Feather Fiend frickin slaps.
Colonel Pluck has always been very divisive as a boss it seems. I’ve seen some people say he’s their favorite boss in this game, others say their least favorite
I think it depends on the aspect, and here’s what I tend to think of both sides of the coin. If the people are looking at the soundtrack, Colonel Pluck’s definitely ok, but in terms of actual gameplay, they may fall in a more negative view.
People make Colonel Pluck sound harder than he actually is, he has a pretty simple patern and If u play the game and the boss enough is not that hard. I also don't understand why people say they don't like him cause he's slow, plataforming games have slow bosses, u need to have patience, the DKC games are plataforming games and have slow bosses, I know that's not the only reason people don't like this boss but i've heard people say they don't like Colonel Pluck ONLY because he's slow, even DK fans say this which is kinda pathetic.
i'd go 8. crabs 7. bomb bird 6. tiki tong 5. robot chicken 4. mangoruby 3. mugly 2. thugly 1. mole miner max i like all of them though to be completely honest
Tbh I have never really liked Tiki Tong. After the cool rocket section, the battle just feels kinda disappointing. It's not like I expected a masterpiece but given the thing other bosses do this just feels a very missed opportunity to add more variety to the fight. And the fight is pretty sluggish too in comparison to other bosses. If I were to rank them: 8. *Scurvy Crew* (slow, boring, not very intuitive and once you get the idea it becomes a joke) 7. Mugly (not bad, but it's pretty much what you'd expect of a first boss) 6. Tiki Tong (feels too slow and anticlimactic for a final boss) 5. Mangoruby (Good concept but it's a bit janky) 4. Mole Miner Train (Conceptually the coolest fight but slightly unintuitive and definitely a huge difficulty spike, but that's with all of World 4) 3. Colonel Pluck (While yes, sorta unintuitive, I really like the variety of attacks that the fight presents you with, as well as probably having the second best transition to a next phase) 2. Stu (The bomb gimmick is clever and pretty well done) 1. Thugly (As many as people complain about it being just like Mugly, Thugly is such a huge glow-up and a perfect boss. It will make you use to the max all of the movement options you have and actually stands out as a true tough boss for the first time, sort of making fun of the Very Gnawty and Really Gnawty fights of the OG by actually making the boss way different. I just wish the fire attack wasn't so unpredictable)
Gluttonous Rhino But Breath Fire: Even if he is a rip off of the first boss, he is a little cooler. He has a shield. He breathes fire. What more can I say.
Not the best ranking, this guy just complaining the entire video, all these bosses are top tier and introduced mechanics and made you put them into practise as well as precision
My ranking 8.skurvy crew.basically one normal crab enemy but from 3 diferent colors and more big,literally nothing original 7.mugly.is the first boss,entendible what so basically,but is really basically,the music is meh,the mecanic super simple the atacks no surpised and defeat is so fast 6.stu.this boss had potencial,but no aprovachet,is cool the idea for defeat for your propy medicy,but is normaly mecanic,easy,fast,no epic and the boss is realy vulnerable,but is fun,good music,funtional,interesanting atacks and good desing 5.mangoruby.interasanting boss bad aprovechating,the mecanic is good,the desing is really original,good ambientation and the using to the stage is exellent,but is really easy,repetitive,fast,the atacks is much basicallys music meh (though nice ambientation),the mecanic never aprovechating in the gameplay and apretate much the 1 xd 4.mole miner max.ok is good and fun battle,good music,interesanting mecanic,fun killer moles,the sesation to persecutation the train is great and is satisfactory avance to this figth,the unique bad is what repetitive and the final fase is more to rest,but is good boss 3.thungly.mugly mejorated in all aspects nothing more,epic battle,epic music,epic mecanics,epic atacks,epic sesation,epic ambientation,is great,please next 2.colonel pluck.personally i love is boss,is the unique what is important in the history apart to tiki tong,why created to the tikis,the mecanics is original,is one chicken driving one robot man is so cool level 1000,exellent desing,fun,thogether tiki tong have one original second fase what no limit a chage the color and aument the atacks,epic,ambientation incredible and the music ufffffff........OMG is one of the best songs of all game,the unique bad is what the fist fase is one little bit slow,but i loved it 1.tiki tong.good music,good desing,good mecanics,good cinematic,good ambientation,good epicness,good atacks,good fases,good seasation and good batlle,all necesary to all created great final boss
After growing up on this game on my grannys Wii that she brought for me. This is very accurate and brought back lots of good nostalgic memories. There is one thing I disagree on, the minecart and rocket levels were some of the best imo.
Chicken Mech: Personally, I think it's a kinda cool idea. I guess you complained about it's pacing because you just want them speed runner vibes injected into your veins!
i never played this game before but how i look at the bosses i can say my list 8: Stu weird and annoying tbh with his screaming noise 7: mangoruby she looks really weird but the only reason shes better then stu is because her name is so good 6: thugly i do not like recolors of bosses they freaking did that in donkey kong country 1 with gnawty and master necky 5: mugly better then thugly cause like i said i dont like recolors also i really like his spikes also they both like to cuss lol 4: mole miner max really nice boss finally a mine cart boss wish i could of fought him 3: scurvy crew i really like the creative 3 crabs stacking on top of each other like goombas from super mario 2: colonel pluck now you guys prob gonna hate on me but i really like the idea of a chicken in a mech suit it looks cool 1: tiki tong and the tiki tak tribe cool looking tiki tong looks really cool even though i never played this game the tiki tak tribe tikis are cute tbh xylobone might be my favorite so yeah thats my list thank u
My fovorite bosses are Colonel Pluck, Tiki Tong and Mangoruby, I remember them being the hardest bosses in the game when I was younger, but after I got good they were a LOT of fun, I think i'm mostly in between Colonel Pluck and Tiki Tong, idk which one I like more.

I just wanted to dislike the vid after number 8, cuz feather fiend is the BEST, most CREATIVE and most INNOVATING boss ever because the solution is the hardest to figure out the first time playing it (I thought it was gonna be number 2). Overall though it’s all good love the vid!
Not a huge fan of the ranking but to each their own I post vids of DKCR and have played it all the way through probably 20 times or so and I love all the bosses even though some are definitely more fun than others

Yea and the Wack a Mole sections music from bothe the smaller moles and Mole Miner Max we're so catchty and really brought out the idea of treachery
