Print money, that's all the congress wants to do.

Entitlement programs all have the same effect. In an era of the fiat dollar, every entitlement program will only accelerate inflation and make life more expensive. The only way to make this work is to require a cut in another program to fund this one.
I think this is a good idea if it’s funded by not punishing middle to higher income employees. The very largest of Americans companies especially those printing money should provide on or offsite daycare for free. My former wife and her sister ran a very successful childcare enterprise for about 7-8 years before my career took off . Her model was clients would pay or work at least 1 day every 10 if they could not afford it . She ran it out of our home for a while until that became very difficult for her own family. She made really good money after moving it to a commercial space that we bought. I think they started with about 10 then all the way to 50 or more. California is so expensive because of the bureaucracy and burdensome fees and licensing requirements.
