I was thinking the exact same thing! I would have spent forever making sure those circles were perfect and then the way she cut the fabric I would have to keep straightening it out, etc. This is nice to watch bc it shows those things don't matter as much as I think they do!
We just adopted two cats today and the beds they had in the stores were either ugly, impractical or way overpriced so I made two after your tutorial and they came out so nice!! Your template worked out perfectly and your video was so easy to follow! Thank you so much for posting this!!! I used a light brown/beige tone of cord fabric! Gives it enough structure and hopefully easy to clean as the color hides the cat hair a little 😅
I love this ❤ I bought our cat a nice soft bed and she didn't want anything to do with it. I will try using a blanket she loves to make this and hopefully 🙏 she will enjoy the bed. Thank you for sharing 🙏🤣
Really thanks for sharing this ideas. Great help esp.for cat lovers to minimize buying that now inflation is so high to any country even Philippines.thank you Maam . Great day to you
I was actually looking for a cat bed but couldn't find the color/design I want. So I look for a DIY instead and yours is way better than the ones I've seen!
Hi! This bed looks so cozy! I actually will use this tutorial to make some beds for strays and rescue cat's! I just have a question, how many pillow stuffing did you used? I have no ideia how much to buy... Thank you so much!
Hi! I don't remember exactly how much pillow stuffing I used. They sell it by kilos here in Ukraine. I used about 700 grams as far as I remember. But it also depends on how tight you will stuff your bed. So I suggest you buy about 1 kilo and find out how much stuffing will you need. Thank you so much 💓
I turned the bed right side out and then I top stitch the seam to hide the seam allowance. I have an industrial machine so this is is not a very hard task for it. If you have a domestic machine you can just use a zigzag stitch to cover a seam so it won't fray 😊
Hi there, it's very simple :) The formula is: The circle length=circle diameter ×3,14. I rounded a number and this is how I get 125 cm. 20 cm is how high you want side part of the bed to be :)
I love the way you don't overly fuss about the smallest details, like I do. This is truly inspiring to me

@@Kimberly_Crowe indeed! It makes me so unmotivated to do something I really love doing
I was wondering what you were going to do with the raw edges, and your solution is so good! basically a french seam but simpler. so elegant 😻
Tq so much I stitched for my cat she's loved it 🤩❤

Excellent and simple tutorial, I really appreciate it! Can't wait to make one for my cat and stuff it with all of my sewing scraps
I made this one (reusing an old fleece jacket) and it is my cat's favorite! Thanks!

I'm so confused, you said the rectangle was 20x125 but you folded the fabric... So it would be 40x125 then?

Hi there, you will need about 1 yard of fabric :)
Love💚
Thank you so much 💗
What are you doing rhe last time you use your machine? Are you using a zig zag to close it up?
