Thank you so much. I try to do as many cuisines and order as many things on the menu as possible (as long as it doesn't go to waste). Really appreciate it
I used to drive so much North-South and back in the UK for work a decade ago when I was a consultant, and places like this are so amazing and such morale lifters. Hi Gary ....Liverpool Kev here...I was speaking to a pal of mine this evening....... I met him nearly 44 years ago in The City after travelling down from Liverpool with a car and a sleeping bag haha...we both agreed that this sort of venue...transport caff...greasy spoon...will be a complete mystery to most people and not too far from now alas....It's easy to become over nostalgic...Who Roger Daltrey 80 years old today...can't be true..(fake news surely) and not everything from the old days was wonderful...let me tell you of a Sealink crossing from Jersey in the 70s to prove the point haha...but it's sad that these great British experiences will inevitably pass from memory...Thank you for asking if I was ok Gary...Always a treat to watch you...That posh buffet recently was astonishing .......But I would have to eat for three days solid to justify the expense....Looking forward as ever to new reviews.....Liverpool Kev....
In 1980 I was driving down to Devon on my third honeymoon. We pulled into a transport caff for supper. Fried or any egg was not available unless one was a lorry driver. I stood my ground, being an employer of drivers, often driving one myself, and they reluctantly served us eggs. Gary does great reviews!

Good review as always gary. The breakfast looked good although the eggs were a bit overdone. Also very good price. Looking forward to seeing more reviews 👍👍

Yes it's a breakfast special!!! That tea looked proper! That's how I like it. Good thick slice of black pudding which was a nice surprise and the ubiquitous hash browns which weren't. I drive past the place quite regularly and the car park is always packed which says a lot about the place, and usually full of motorbikes, especially on the weekends. I think its a meet up place for all the local bikers. It has a great reputation around these parts.

I'm so glad as a lifelong biker you have done this review Gary, well done, this place admittedly a bit above the norm wish I'd known about it. I remember making a two hour trip to Squires near Leeds only to walk out, the place stunk, your feet stuck to the carpet, and the spoons for your coffee were in a filthy pint glass of water, not for me.
Another great review Gary, I concur, the Sausage is the star of the show- other ingredients are the support acts 👊. For me it’s tinned tomatoes with a breakfast- grilled tomato with a steak🤔
Gary, I love the variety of your reviews. You clearly appreciate the decor, ambience and service of high end restaurants, and at the same time fully embrace cheaper establishments with excellent quality food. I salute you! Carry on, old bean!
Gary your channel and The MacMaster's channel are two of my favorite's for breakfast dining. I have never had a full English breakfast but they look fantastic. Both of these channels get be super hungry. Cheers
My family and I have eaten at Super Sausage on many occasions and we love it. Proper bacon, sausage, beans etc and the black pudding is excellent. They also do good burgers and chilli, the service is fast and there's always Black Sabbath, Ozzie Osbourne, Def Leppard etc on with lots of biker memorabilia.
Y'Know? I live in Milton Keynes but have never eaten at Super Sausage as everytime I have gone there, the queue, has been out of the door and into the carpark!!!
Superb review as ever and a revue I can totally relate to as we live very close by and often frequent the Super Sausage, the food is always fantastic especially the Breakfasts (I am to tomatoes what you are to mushrooms) but agree the sausages are unbeatable. Weekends are virually all motorbikes in the car-park but always a great bunch of people.
It looks like the kind of place you can rely on for consistently good quality food at any time - just what's needed when out and about. As a shroom eater, those mushrooms looked lovely and cooked just right. And a fried slice! Don't see that too often nowadays as standard. Thanks for another excellent review Gary.
Looks spot on Gary...value for money which these days makes a change! Definitely fresh tomatoes over tinned. You need to start feeling the love for mushrooms mate.
That breakfast certainly looked great, and the price makes it very good value. The Super Sausage is only 23 miles from me, so I am going there tomorrow or Thursday to enjoy the large breakfast. As far as the Isle of Man goes, I've visited there every year for the past four years, most recently in June just gone. Yes, the Isle of Man meats really are top quality. You should consider doing a review there. I can recommend the Falcon's Nest Hotel in Port Erin for the buffet breakfast, they also do an excellent Sunday roast dinner, however, you have to book for the roast as demand is very high. Kind regards.
Hi Gary I went to the Saucy sausage this morning. I had the monty with extra black pudding. Great food, friendly staff, extremely clean premises and dog friendly. As I'm a fun guy, I ate all my mushrooms. I told them to check out your review. Kind regards, Dave D.
Sharp haircut! Loving the patriotism with all the flags. I'm very close to two of the Golden Sausage cafes on the noticeboard, G6 & G16, I really need to give it a go. Food looked hearty and plentiful. Great upload!
I worked at this cafè as a server when i was 18, used to ride my bike across the countryside each morning from Deanshanger up the road from there. It was packed every shift without fail.. Food was always excellent back then glad to see the standards are the same and they've kept the food traditional and fresh like it was when I done a stint there 11 years ago.. Also the rock n roll feel to the place with the music helped get you through each service 🎸🙂
Fab Motorway Cafe. Food looked great, cup of tea great. Glad to hear that Hollywood will be fed today. You looked comfortable today. Enjoy your review as usual.Chips looked delicious, that was my highlight of the food. Thought it all combined was worth the money.
I’ve been by here a few times with work and thought about stopping when I have time. The key to any good brekky is a good quality sausage, nice to see Lincolnshires on the plate.
Hello Gary. Another really enjoyable review. Your vlogs are informative and fun little gems. Btw you look much happier at the cafe than you did at the Mughal Dynasty the other day. Nuff said. Take care now.
Looks an interesting place, must say those mushrooms looked good, you really do need to try them. Nice enough breakfast and although I always choose fresh tomatoes, I’m going to have to give tinned a go 👍
Lincolnshire sausages... I grew up in a small Lincolnshire market town. There were two butchers who shared the same premises on the corner of the market square and they were deadly rivals. Customers would often go to one butcher and weigh up the cost against the quality and make their decision as to which butcher was going to get their trade. Sometimes customers would even buy a product from one butcher, then take two paces across the aisle to buy another product from the other butcher. The butchers, Graham Thornalley and Bill Kerr hated each other. As a child I was torn between the two. Bill would often give me some of his white wrapping paper to draw on; Graham... well... he was much more frugal but his sausages just had the edge. Years passed and I moved away from my home town. I went to college, travelled around widely but no matter where I went I couldn’t find any sausages that tasted like those made by Graham Thornalley. Eventually I settled down and, through the auspices of the internet, found various recipes for Lincolnshire sausages. I decided to make my own and try to replicate Mr Thornalley’s, all to no avail. I actually became rather adept at making sausages (my Mexican pork, sweet pepper, bean and cinnamon sausages were incredible) and I used to have arguments with my local butcher who I accused of adding more than 11% water to his mix. Although he denied it vehemently to start with, eventually he conceded that I was right. More years passed and eventually my hubby reached retirement age. A delightful property with a view over the Lincolnshire Wolds became available in my home town and we decided to retire there. Finally I would have a chance to experience fine Lincolnshire sausages again. Sadly, both Graham Thornalley and Bill Kerr had long since retired; indeed they were both pushing up daisies. I just hoped they weren’t buried next to each other, a kind of, “In death, as in life”. It had been several years since we returned to the town before I mentioned to an acquaintance that I’d never tasted sausages as good as those made by Mr Thornalley and I’d given up hope of ever finding their equal. I’d come to the conclusion that Mr Thornalley must have been adding some secret ingredient to his sausages that he didn’t want to acknowledge! After all sausages made in my childhood were notorious for additional ingredients that would be unlawful nowadays and were probably unlawful then. That was when my friend told me Mr Thornalley had passed his recipe on to another butcher who, although elderly, was still in business in the town and making sausages to the original recipe. As you might expect, I was straight down to that butcher’s. I bought a pound, told him how much I was looking forward to them and how long I’d been searching for them. The old butcher smiled and told me to make sure I cooked them the way my mother would have cooked them. I pondered this as I walked home. My mother always braised her sausages in a frying pan. She would fry them to get a colour, then add flour which would be absorbed by the fat and then add chicken stock to produce a gravy in which the sausages could braise on the hob. Then it struck me... every time I cooked sausages, I used cooking oil. My mother had used lard. This time I used lard instead of oil and finally, after a lifetime searching for the taste of my childhood, it was there. Proper Lincolnshire sausages at last.
I do the same with the knife into the side of the toast. Something that has been passed down through the generations. It looked like a proper steak burger, so I would say great value. Once you have a burger made out of steak, you never want to go back to catering style beef burgers. Great review and nice to see you north of London 👍
Hi Gary I’m new to your channel and what a refreshing change to watch someone reviewing food without being over the top and fake. That breakfast looked awesome and to top it off you had a proper strong brew. I always say a good brew should resemble the colour of He Man 😁👍
I love places like this. Although I was born and brought up in Aberdeenshire, now living in Inverness. My family originate from Lincolnshire and having been a few times, I absolutely love Lincolnshire sausages. So I will always have a soft spot for anywhere that serves them. They so difficult to find up here in the Highlands, places like Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi etc used to have them but seem to have disappeared. Can now only find Lincolnshire sausages in M&S..
It looked amazing!!! I have to say I was impressed they used tinned tomatoes virtually all places now use fresh tomatoes. Not sure why? I'm not a fan of tomato generally, but the sweet juicy runny tinned tomatoes are pure heaven and for me one of the best parts of a full English. And top trump the standard boring dehydrated slice of dried grilled tomato any day of the week.
Good review. I have been there on my bike. A magnificent breakfast. I had a simple sausage sandwich with a mug of tea. Quality. I must get over there again when the weather improves. Hash brown on an FEB? The Hash brown is surely an American import.
(49) Well, it would be a bit difficult to get a really tasty FRESH tomato in winter; but they did opt for some nice tinned plum tomatoes. I miss black pudding A LOT; its just not a goer here in America. And the snags here are DIRE. Fair enough score from you I think; whats inside the egg is already dead, no need to kill it again with the overcook. Thanks for the upload, Gary!!!

You will enjoy for sure especially inside 👍
Gary….you are a natural at this. Cheers and thanks again!
That’s very kind Stephen 👍
Thanks for another great video. Try the Grumpy Mole gastro pub chain - well worth a visit
I will take a look at your recommendation, Rob, and thank you very much
Gary, I love the variety of your reviews. You clearly appreciate the decor, ambience and service of high end restaurants, and at the same time fully embrace cheaper establishments with excellent quality food. I salute you! Carry on, old bean!
I say old chap that is very kind, but I really mean a lovely comment thank you 🤩
Enjoyed this one mate, looks like a great plate of food. Hope we can share a meal one day when I'm back in England. All the best
Send me an email 👍
always tinned tom's for me Gary, look delish mate and yes the eggs needed to be a little more runny
Very nice Stephen 👍🏼
Success leads to success. Well done Garry. Brilliant vlog as expected. Keep on giving it a go.
Thank you very much
Gary your channel and The MacMaster's channel are two of my favorite's for breakfast dining.
I have never had a full English breakfast but they look fantastic. Both of these channels get be super hungry. Cheers
Thank you and the Mac does many breakfasts!!
That ham, egg and chips sounds amazing ! The mushrooms looked really properly cooked too, not just stewed and palid.
Very nice Lorraine I must say
That looked like a top breakfast 😊Will give it a go!!!!Thanks Gary 😊😊😊
Thank you and enjoy
My family and I have eaten at Super Sausage on many occasions and we love it. Proper bacon, sausage, beans etc and the black pudding is excellent. They also do good burgers and chilli, the service is fast and there's always Black Sabbath, Ozzie Osbourne, Def Leppard etc on with lots of biker memorabilia.
Very very nice cafe, really enjoyed this one
Y'Know?
I live in Milton Keynes but have never eaten at Super Sausage as everytime I have gone there, the queue, has been out of the door and into the carpark!!!
That is enough to know how good it is 👍
Another good review. You have to take the experience as a whole into consideration. Ambience, and staff as well as the food.
I agree thank you
Well done with the channel Gary . Love your videos mate keep it up!!
Very kind John thank you
On the looks of the food
breakfast gets 8.5/10
The burger gets 7.5/10
Love the channel keep up the good up Gary
Awesome! Thank you!
I'm not sure why there is something so wholesome about watching this guy review food, but keep up the good work mate!
Very kind Alex thank you 👍
Superb review as ever and a revue I can totally relate to as we live very close by and often frequent the Super Sausage, the food is always fantastic especially the Breakfasts (I am to tomatoes what you are to mushrooms) but agree the sausages are unbeatable. Weekends are virually all motorbikes in the car-park but always a great bunch of people.
So good to hear Ian, you know hoe good a cafe it is mate 👍
It looks like the kind of place you can rely on for consistently good quality food at any time - just what's needed when out and about. As a shroom eater, those mushrooms looked lovely and cooked just right. And a fried slice! Don't see that too often nowadays as standard. Thanks for another excellent review Gary.
Very kind and I agree an excellent cafe
Great vid as always Gary 👏 I just love your wonderful polite manner 🤗 Please keep us entertained forever ❤
Very kind Steve thank you
Looks spot on Gary...value for money which these days makes a change! Definitely fresh tomatoes over tinned. You need to start feeling the love for mushrooms mate.
Not going to happen I’m afraid 🤷♂️
Nice one Gary,
Picture perfect breakfast!!!
And that burger 🍔 looked tasty too,
Great upload
Great Thumbnail
Nice one lads,
Thanks so much David. All the best
That is fantastic to hear. Please let me know what you think.
Hi Gary
I went to the Saucy sausage this morning. I had the monty with extra black pudding.
Great food, friendly staff, extremely clean premises and dog friendly.
As I'm a fun guy, I ate all my mushrooms.
I told them to check out your review.
Kind regards, Dave D.
In my neck of the woods passed it a few times, never been in, always busy
Yes, very busy in there
Sharp haircut! Loving the patriotism with all the flags. I'm very close to two of the Golden Sausage cafes on the noticeboard, G6 & G16, I really need to give it a go. Food looked hearty and plentiful. Great upload!
Thank you it’s worth a visit a proper cafe 👍
I worked at this cafè as a server when i was 18, used to ride my bike across the countryside each morning from Deanshanger up the road from there. It was packed every shift without fail.. Food was always excellent back then glad to see the standards are the same and they've kept the food traditional and fresh like it was when I done a stint there 11 years ago.. Also the rock n roll feel to the place with the music helped get you through each service 🎸🙂
The staff were very friendly when we went
Fab Motorway Cafe. Food looked great, cup of tea great. Glad to hear that Hollywood will be fed today. You looked comfortable today. Enjoy your review as usual.Chips looked delicious, that was my highlight of the food. Thought it all combined was worth the money.
Glad you enjoyed it Ann. Please don't call him Hollywood otherwise his ego gets too big!!
Oh we cant have that 😂😂😂😂
I’ve been by here a few times with work and thought about stopping when I have time. The key to any good brekky is a good quality sausage, nice to see Lincolnshires on the plate.
Excellent sausages, worth a visit for a sausage butty 👍
Hello Gary. Another really enjoyable review. Your vlogs are informative and fun little gems. Btw you look much happier at the cafe than you did at the Mughal Dynasty the other day. Nuff said. Take care now.
I did Colin a bit more relaxed today lol thank you 😂😊
Looks an interesting place, must say those mushrooms looked good, you really do need to try them.
This is such a beautiful and brilliant story thank you for sharing, I take it you like the Lincolnshire sausage lol, you have a wonderful weekend 😊
Can’t beat a hearty breakfast in a morning, really sets you up for the day 👍
I agree a good breakfast makes the day
Fresh tomatoes.. yum! I'd also go for the beans and mushrooms (and the chips).
I cannot stand mushrooms Siobhan but definitely fresh tomatoes 👌
I do the same with the knife into the side of the toast. Something that has been passed down through the generations. It looked like a proper steak burger, so I would say great value. Once you have a burger made out of steak, you never want to go back to catering style beef burgers. Great review and nice to see you north of London 👍
Ah great to hear that someone else does it. More reviews coming outside of London for a while now!
Hi Gary I’m new to your channel and what a refreshing change to watch someone reviewing food without being over the top and fake. That breakfast looked awesome and to top it off you had a proper strong brew. I always say a good brew should resemble the colour of He Man 😁👍
Thank you for watching it’s really appreciated thank you, I do like a strong mug of tea 🍵
The presentation on that breakfast is immaculate. I’d definitely go there after watching this. I’d have to avoid the fried bread though 😂
This was really good and if you’re into your motorsport, the inside is fantastic
Thank you Walter the sausage was top top drawer again thank you for watching and commenting 🏴🏴
That breakfast looked great! - It's definitely come up in the world since I used to eat there back in the late eighties.
Really Nigel that’s like wow a trip down memory lane 👍
Finally somewhere that I eat at. Love this place and was in there for my lunch today.
Excellent to hear was it good ?👍
It looked amazing!!!
This was really good and if you’re a motorcycle fan the inside is incredible Paul
Good review. I have been there on my bike. A magnificent breakfast. I had a simple sausage sandwich with a mug of tea. Quality. I must get over there again when the weather improves. Hash brown on an FEB? The Hash brown is surely an American import.
Thank you as you know 👍
Looks delicious. Great close ups and once again a nice solid review. 👍✌️
Very kind thank you
That breakfast looked amazing gary especially the sausages. Will definitely try that place if I'm near. Great video mate 😊
Thank you Neil well worth a visit
Wow, another brilliant review, Gary. The size of that breakfast amazing, great looking burger fantastic price that to me has to ba a 10 😊
Thanks so much Paul!
Sounds like a place I would be visiting this year on my travels! The Full Monty is a little too big for me so a scaled down version would suit! 😎
I think you can order it all separately!
Haha very fair comment, thank you
Get yourself down to Manchester again some excellent food options if you can put up with the weather! Crazy Pedro’s, Almost Famous, Yard and Coop. Love your videos!
Next time! I've done a few reviews in Manchester and really enjoyed it!
