😥 sad...you didn't fail Reggie they did. You're the greatest Pacer that ever played the game in history. That team could have easily gave Reggie a championship just like Gary Payton, Steve Smith, and Mitch Richmond as he was closing his career. The team from 03 to 05 was probably one of the top 5 teams in the league at the time. The 05 season was the season that never was. We started 11-2 with Reggie sitting in the bench healing from hand surgery. Imagine what would have happened when he returned? Smh..this man goes ona list of the greatest players that ever played with no ring all because of immature team mates.

@GoGetYourShinebox Reggie is not responsible for grown ass men. He got Jermaine right when he came but Ron was just doing mental therapy for his issues. He was a ticking time bomb and all over the place if he wasn't playing basketball. Dude was trying to start a record label after throwing the season previous. Stephen Jackson wanted to be on some thug shit and Jermaine was tired of both of them. People forget Jermaine came in the league when Kobe did. He had become a mature veteran. He took not helping Reggie or himself getting a championship the worse. It took him years to forgive Ron. He was able to change way later in his career and get one with Kobe. White Jermaine had to look on. Reggie tried to get them to co exist but they all wanted to be leaders. Prior to 03-04 everyone on the team knew it was now Jermaines team and Reggie Miller knighted him. Ron and Stephen Jackson was the only two dummies who didn't wanna hear that. Plus the Pacers also fired Isiah Thomas which was karma based. Had Isiah been there that Mele wouldn't have happened. Most maybe Ron ticked everything else would have been under control.

Man this is interesting. I didn’t really follow the story when it happened, too much going on in my life to care about at the time, but there is something pretty big about this. My dad was a criminal when he was younger with a lot of fight in him. He turned to Jesus when he was in his late 20’s before I was born and his life turned around but he was still a fighter and still is. We all know someone who is a fighter through and through and there is something truly special about those people but it can be turned to tremendous evil or tremendous good. If you don’t have much fight in you then sometimes the impact you make in a situation is just less. A fighter tends to make an impact. All that said, I’m looking at this crazy world and all the drama and sort of realizing that a lot of men just don’t know what is truly worth fighting for but they still fight. Fighters need something good to fight for in this life if you are hearing me, and it matters what fight you stir up in people. If you don’t get what I’m saying don’t worry about it, you probably aren’t a fighter. What I’m sort of getting at is I have more hope for people that cause problems and do stupid crap because they NEED a fight. I’m a fighter too and I’m starting to get it.

His sister was also great . 2 x NCAA champion, Olympicgold medalist and a hall of famer . Just she was the older sister and was 15 to 20 years too early before WNBA was around . Arguably better then her brother Reggie when comes to skill .
