- There is still a lot of way to make it faster but the run has a lot more "RNG" to it cause the launch from the force-rocket is kind of random. Lots of run died cause I was not getting launched forward.

It's not useless bro, these guys play the crap out of the games they speedrun before they do this. You dont learn it overnight, this takes countless hours of trial and error

I knew this game would lend itself well to speedrunning, but I had *no* idea it would be this broken this fast. Came here because the dev commented on my Steam review of the game and said the record was 6 minutes. This is, honestly, shocking. I couldn't be more impressed!
Oh, one question though. Would it be faster to fall through the well at the beginning instead of waiting on the pipe?
I think you can't get in the well during the tutorial
lol this is incredible, the part where you get into the blues to get triple jump so fast is genius
Is it still possible to do those vertical wall jumps? I managed to do the sponge-surfing and I'm impressed by your ability to control that... flying that sponge is harder than flying a helicopter.

MUCH more efficient than the 14 minute run. Impressed on how precise you are with this game, it's a little wonky to say the least.

How to make a better world record:
1. Complete game 100%
2. Remember where what is.
3. Do same thing.
4. eat, sleep, practice
5. boom. your done. world record in 6 mins xD
It is not 100% though, more like any%.

finally beat the game after 17 hours of casual play. So funny to see how much can be skipped.
How did you do the flying on the sponge thing and does it still work
It does but it's super difficult. You have to time your abilities perfectly.. Jump towards center of sponge -> Target center of sponge and shoot cube -> not too soon, not too late, press E to pick up the sponge as you land on your cube... and awayyyy you go! ... probably straight into a wall and it'll flip away on you like it did with me!

The sponge gliding thing feels very similar to nut jumping in mario odysee i wonder why both of them work where thay have to be wet
Woudn't it be more efficient to take the sponges as the first task instead of waiting for the pipe to open ?
You have to go through the pipe the game literally blocks you from doing anything else until you've gone through the pipe

1:30 How did you brake metal plates without anything? They required 128 damage of the red beam to melt them.
I broke the wooden one that are under the metal plates.

This isn't how the ending works these days. It got reworked. So, if you get the game now, you can't finish the game in the same time.
I played the game again recently and you can still do about the same route. The ending is different but we can still do it even if we skipped most items.
