I'm a person who called 3d glasses, cloud gaming, iphone touchscreen, smartwatch, robots, self driving car, ai, and all those techs completely useless waste of money gimmick and I'll gladly say the word gimmick/novelty have no place in vr at this point, it is the biggest tech advancement in the market since the pc and internet

They're simply not knowldablge enough to even explain the technology, they don't understand the applications for AI, how Ai models are trained on large subsets of data, and they don't understand the principals of AI as a prediction and optimization tool.
Ok hear me out everyone I bought the game because I thought it was a great game when I saw the gameplay and everything, and it was. The main reason I bought the game was because the hidden blades, because I thought they were cool and all until I actually paid attention to the story and learned what I had to do each time I am an assassin. This game deserves to be the game of the year after I played the whole game, everyone should have a shot of the game!

This game has clearly been made by huge VR fans. I have 6 years of experience in VR. I have been seeing these game mechanics all over the place from Half Life Alyx to Asgar's Wrath to heavily modded Skyrim VR. They took the best thing from each great VR game and perfected it in Assassin's Creed. Add to that new mechanics unique to AC like the parcour and how they made everything compatible with the game's history and on top of all that, they put in an engaging storyline. I literally cant think of anything they could have done better. Of course, the graphics could have been better and smoother, but this is way better than anything I expected on a stand-alone headset. Like you said, if there is anything you wamt to take away from people's reaction is we almost all couldn't wait to go back and play more. I for sure know once I finish the game, I will redo it om a higher difficulty.

stride has better parkour and there are many games with better combat. and im not talking about shit like blade and sorcery like most ppl. the devs must've played it and noticed how abysmally boring that it to just have ragdolls that ragdoll if you just one tap em and that's it. it's over. that's not combat. i'm talking about swordsman vr or grimlord with physical and SOLID combat. this game just could've been so much more if not held back by mobile hardware and greedy business ppl.
@Yuki-rh1ie you are talking about games specializing in simulating only one thing as real as possible. It is like comparing the driving in iRacing to GTA. This is not an accurate comparison. Can you imagine you need the level of driving skill of an e-sport sim racer to just get from one mission to another on GTA? That would be ridiculous. Those who play these kinds of games are fans of the sport and passionate enough to put the time to master the skill. There are much fewer of them than those who want to play AC. The hardest thing in mainstream games is to strike the perfect balance between challenging but accessible. Ubisoft hit the nail on the head.

Got it played it, it’s a little glitchy the movement for enemies when fighting are too quick and it’s very annoying when you shoot enemies and travel to them to retrieve your arrow only to find no enemy and no arrow, also now I have completed the game there is nothing to do now only play it again which I don’t like doing so no replay ability which is a shame, what we need is a rockstar to step in and create an open world thinking red dead redemption type, hell all they have to do is make red dead redemption vr playable and that would do me lol 😂

You should check out red matter there is the 1st game and 2nd! Loved them on VR!! I recently upgraded to the new VR headset! It's space related and I loved playing both so much!!

Vr is more of sacrifice of graphic but improve everything else. Imagine you can control your character with your whole body with good precision and reaction compared to joystick controller and k/m

My sweet spot is 30 mins max otherwise I get very dizzy. I’ve been using VR since 20.. ( the first rift) and I just can’t stand that I haven’t got used to it.

vr on the pc side has been everything you could ever dream of for years. this could've been a full blown AC game in vr if it were on pc and not mobile hardware. that's all im sad about. but im definitely happy an ac vr game exists. it just could have been so much more. im playing cyberpunk in vr and even without motion controls, the absolutely EXPLOSIVE scale you literally cannot wrap your head around of being IN night city. it's nothing like any other vr game and it's not even anything like experiencing it on flat screen. you ARE V. that life you live in there, is YOUR life. and you are seeing things you just never see playing it on flatscreen or playing any other vr game. a full blown AAA open world rpg of that scale in vr is just straight out of cyberpunk. you're just V, lost on the streets of night city, navigating the shit you're dealt. and i cannot wait for when ppl aren't holding back VR anymore and we get games of this cale in VR natively with motion controllers and even FBT.
Ubisoft why going to make this game at all but Meta helped pay for it.

to be fair, this is still a major leap forward for what's possible on a standalone headset. i can't fathom how they got this thing running on the quest 2

@gyorgyboszormenyi9078 my quest 3 running this game last about 1 hour 20 minutes. I do have the brightness at 100. But to he honest after an hour I need a break anyway.
I played for 1 hour and 30 minutes, which is something I am not proud of and my battery was around 10% approximately; this was on the Quest 2.

Get one lol, they sell quest 2s in marketplace for like 150 or cheaper. Quest 3 is much much better but quest 2 is still a good headset

tbh, the game is not very good, and i clip out of the map alot, and overall the physics arent very good
@@Gibby-TZZ idk what game you played, I've played nearly every VR game worth playing, half life alyx twice, modded Skyrim VR, boneworks, almost anything worth having on the quest store. Id put this in my top 5 vr games of all time easily, it's one of the most official AAA games ive played yet, and some of the most fun I've had in a very long time. Every game has jank, but this is a very very good VR game, crazy immersive, especially on the quest 3 with quest games optimizer to turn the graphic settings up and unlock the GPU and CPU levels. Easy recommendations and I feel like it's a must have for anyone with the headset.
im on quest 2, but for me my experience hasnt been good. i love other games like bonelab, boneworks, half life alyx, but this is not for me @@ImTooLockedIn 🤣
