I think of this movie as a comfort movie. Underrated, i would say. Its not a gutbuster, it makes me smirk and chuckle here and there, but the main draw is just how unique and charming and quirky and weird it is, and it has a lot of heart. There isnt another movie like this. Plus i saw this in theaters when i was 15 with a friend, so its got that nostalgia factor as well. Man, where does the time go.

Their parents always made sure I was fed and took care of me like I was one of their own, and my mom always did the same. AND.. the best sense of humor

My kids memorized every line and now after seeing these clips years later, every line was perfect and I can see why they did that. It’s even more funny today because comedy went missing and I forgot how interesting everything was before this current pc culture ruined everything.
