BF1, and Operations in BF1, is the franchise at its absolute height. And it was a financial success.
They had the winning formula. But they listened to too many sweat tryhard youtubers (other than Broken who appreciates it) who whined and cried about various personal, narrow gripes. But now looking back we can see how wrong those people were and how brilliant BF1 was. And it remains the last game in the franchise that the overwhelming majority of fans embraced and made into a financial success. Everything since is various, worsening failures. BF1 stands as a classic that still holds up, with unparalleled immersion and satisfying gameplay.
Nah it was mostly all the og devs going away from Dice right after BF1.

2:45 was on this same map destroying with the Garford-Putilov truck using the anti-infantry class it’s a very underrated class/vehicle imo you can do good long range shots from behind cover to personal and vehicles the ammo burst on impact so it can get them behind cover most tanks go down in a few hits and they can’t reach you it really shines in operations mode tho

Wish I could play this again tired everything but it's stuck on not loading the Ui update that doesn't update.
I uninstalled and installed it 3 times nothing works wish I never took it off to clear up some space.
The UI update use to take seconds now it doesn't go past 0% pretty annoying paying for a game I've had since 2016 off the ps store that doesn't work 😢

Think removal of the premium model may have been a mistake. I understand that it was much harder to find servers to pay the premium maps but even the vannila maps seemed better. Probably because they didn't have to drip content
There was a reason why they shifted from premium. All the dlc content would have only about 2~3 week lifespan because no one bought premium.

Battlefield 5 is great still, battlefield 1 is still great of course and I still play battlefield 4 lol which is 100 times better than 2042
This is the best Battlefield game. Some will say bf3. Some will say bf4. Some idiots will say bf5 or 2042. But they are wrong. Objectively speaking, this is the best one. It's also my favorite game, and I've been playing it consistently since I think 2022? Maybe earlier. I recently hit rank 100. Pretty cool.
