Trick To Apply a Specific Color To Any Object in Photoshop!

  • Apply ANY special shade of color or an exact color to an object in Photoshop using this technique. In this episode of #AskPiX, learn how to change the color of an object to a specific color either defined by hex code, RGB or CMYK values. To do this, all we need is a hue saturation adjustment layer and some brain. Hope this video helps you!

      It should be like this: 2 + 2 - 1 = 4 - 1 = 3
      Or
      2 + 2 = 4
      4 - 1 = 3

    I was trying to learn how to use Photoshop with limited success. It would just not stick, despite watching many videos. Then you said "Do not learn the answer that 2+2=4, instead master addition". That transformed my perception, understanding and approach. Suddenly it began to stick. I cannot thank you enough. Oh, and thank you for all your fantastic videos. You really know your stuff. I am going to watch them all again now, with new eyes!!!!

    Whenever I am sliding the sliders for color temperature, both of my colors in the rectangles are changing and I'm not able to get them to match. What could I be doing wrong?

      Zemzy Oseris YES! It's called replace colour and takes 10 seconds!

      The point is to learn how to master the tools. Not to necessarily change the color of a car. Knowing these tools will help you learn the approach to tackle advanced problems that the color replace tool won't be able to touch.

    Know the tools! THATS THE best advise ever! AND being in Graphic Design for a while, i'm learning all the tools in PS and AI. To colour any car, I would just go to colour replacement and use eye dropper for any colour I want. You can even eye drop from the software to your browser by selecting the eye dropper tool and then moving to any part of the browser to get any specific colour.
