Ngl seeing him play DPS always makes me want to 1v1 flats. Not because I think I’d win, no my peak since I came back to overwatch was plat. I just want to see how bad I get thrashed so I can potentially learn something
i wish i had a better device i have everything as low as i possibly can on overwatch and my pc shouldnt perform this badly but my frames are constantly freezing/dropping to 5 or 20
If you have single channel ram and it’s upgradeable you could get some for like 10$ and that will help significantly.

Folks, I have a question:
I know I'm a rookie in OW2. I've tried to play DPS in a match recently and did over 11k damage, but only 10kills. The other DPS did around 8k damage but killed around 20. I was called out for being the diff (our tank was probably the biggest problem in that match, since he was switching everytime and not taking space, but I wanna try to improve myself before poiting fingers so certain)
I ask you that know more about the game than I do: As a DPS, is it more importat to (1) deal damage or (2) get kills?
Get kills. You had over 11k damage without many kills because you were shooting the tank, I assume.
This is the thing with Sombra, people get mad because of her low damage output, but she can end up with the same kills as the rest of the team because it's small burst damage. Same with Widowmaker and Mei. And it's the opposite with Bastion and Junkrat, they do super high damage as a tank busters but might not necessarily get kills. If you're not getting kills, the numbers don't matter nearly as much as people think.
If you really think about it, you're feeding the Supports ult charge by doing damage without getting the kill too, because they're just healing it back up and getting charge, which is then screwing your team when they get big Ults that are cancelled by Support Ults.

I was actually trying to flank and shoot more the supports, while positioning the turret from the sides (I was trying to "surround" the enemy... not sure if this is the best idea - I was torbjorn vs Winston/Bap/Moira/Reaper/Junk), but everytime I got the the backlines, the enemy team moved as a unit to delete me lol
I'm not in my best gaming shape, but I'll try to improve, thank you very much
i play support on overwatch to see how much trash talk i can handle cuz they never fail to blame heals when they're just terrible at the game

You wanna know why they don't have a k/a/d system but the E/A/D system? Becuase it gives you the elusion that a character is good but in reality their too damn niche to work outside of a few situations, it's also how they avoid nerfing or buffing the characters who need a nerf and the ones who need a buff becuase the elo system is at work, elo hell isn't real untill someone with Hanzo or ashe or widow is popping up on the screen every two seconds maybe a bastion or torb but that's the real elo hell.

@pedronycum6765 you aren't playing cod. If you're a dps, you can see your final blows. In fact that's your most important Stat. Other roles don't have to worry about "killing blows". It's unimportant as this is a team game, who gets the pick should be dps but ultimately doesn't matter when the team fight is won.
They don't balance for golds bro...
If you have an issue with one shots or being outmatched learn more heroes or accept your skill issue.

The hell are you talking about, the 2 teams were pretty much equel strenght, if anything Flat's team was actually a bit stronger, they just choked hard in the third round
