The objects are the last vestiges of an imperial empire that lasted for centuries and the watch metaphorically symbolizes the time of it's finality. There will not only be an interest by collectors of horology, but historians, imperialists, museums, and every Chinese billionaire will be bidding for ownership of this token once owned by a man who lost an empire. It's a reminder of what China could have been under imperial regime.
